Donated $1000 to CR Foundation

If fucktard actually donated his money, I might have some respect. Instead all he did was divert money from real charities to a proxy organization set up by professional athletes to cover their own asses. Now he is looking for kudo's for doing so.

Fuck that High Fives is a joke, and so was CR. The guy smoked himself stupid before he broke free skiing ground by being involved in the first skier-head jib.
 
I'm having trouble understanding where your opinion is coming from. I'm assuming that since you're on this site, you love skiing, so this hostility is confusing. I guess I don't see a problem with wanting to help people who are seriously injured or incapacitated by a sport that means the world to me and most people on this site.

I see the point you're trying to make, and it would be valid, except for the fact that its CHARITY. Nobody was forced to give anything, its an optional donation for anyone who feels like giving. What charities have you given to, if I may ask?

Except High Fives would never help you if you got seriously injured. They only help those who were paid to ski get back to skiing. Like I said, it was set up by professional skiers to cover their own asses.

And what is with all the built up passion for C.R? It is not like most of you knew the guy personally, or was he secretly going to n.s. members houses and giving you all blow jobs? He was a stoner who got killed, no need to have a period about it. Plenty of people die everyday, in car accidents, from disease, from being to stoned to make good judgments... I don't cry about them. Just because spider paid someone to point a camera at C.R. for a few years does not mean he could walk on water.

I semi-agreed with you at first cobra_commander. But then you just started talking way too much shit about C.R. and that's fucked up. Sure, the money could've gone to a charity that helps starving kids in Africa, and you are kinda right about High Fives because I know if some serious shit happened to me while skiing and I couldn't walk or talk, High Fives would be no where near me. But it's still a cool foundation. And it's a part of our community. Not saying I would give $1000 to them because I wouldn't since there are more deserving charities, but there is no need for this. R.I.P. C.R. and to OP: the company you work for is awesome.
 
After looking more into High Fives through their website, they do help a lot of people actually. Not all pro skiers. I take back some of what I said. They are a better organization than I thought.
