it makes me sick. i understand that he doesnt like euros and detroit is essentially a team full of them, but come on. Pittsburgh represents everything he does'nt like: diving, crying to the refs, playing soft hockey.

As a matter of fact I've noticed this with all of the media. They all want the penguins to win because it would be 'good for the game'. absolute nonsense.
 
The Pens winning the cup will be better for the game then Detroit winning another cup. Cherry has the right to be bias, every announcer is bias towards one team or another, it's human nature to choose sides. The thing is Cherry is more open about who he wants to win.
 
every national announcer ive ever heard is biased toward the pens. i cant stand watching the games on nbc because they never stop talking about crosby and showing stupid segments with him
