Domains = Crack of skis.

2 days of jibbing on them and I am absolutely in love with these things. I can't wait to rip around the hill on them as the season progresses.

Its ridiculous isn't it. I love them, I don't think I've ever had as much fun just skiing groomer runs. They are simply amazing.

K2 makes some of the best park skis ever. And they have a history of making some of the greatest park skis ever. I absolutely love my extremes.

I really don't see whats so funny about it. Its just my honest opinion about a ski company. They do have a history of making some really good skis.

k2 is an amzing company but my public enemys blew ass in the park. k2 in general has bombproof quality. me and rob centermounted a pair of 200 cm 1990 k2's then proceeded to drop them on rocks run them over with my car and leave them outside for 6 months. they still do not have a single edge crack pretty amazing

my domains waiting to be shredded as wellllll uhhhhhh.....
btw im pretty sure i need to dull out the edges underfoot, have you guys done that before slaying on them?

yeah any ski you plan on doing rails you should rub them down with a gummi stone.just lowers the chance of catches edges or eliminates any burs if they are older skis. i would recommend it

It might just be the picture but those look mounted back. Why wouldnt you center mount them? They are a symmetrical ski...

look closely and you will see that they are mounted dead center. Look on the bases where the break is and imagine a boot there you will see. but yeah haha when i took the picture i was like damn this doesnt look dead center, but i made sure it was lol.

it's the angle of the picture and the way griffons look on skis cause the nose piece is so small and the heel piece is so long, it just makes them look farther back than they are.

god damn.. i want to buy these soooo badly, i just recently convinced myself not to because i have no money. fuck it. who needs to eat anyway?

Man I can't wait to get mine mounted and hit the slopes. Only heard positive things about the domains and this thread only helps support that!

Yeah haha, I said the same thing last week, these skis don't seem to have a thing wrong with them.

I guess im the minority here, I hated domains when I demoed them last season...to each his own I guess

I just got domains, and im puttin px 12s on them. Anyone know what boots would be good for these? I'm somewhat new to the park, so knowing what would be a good set of boots to ride in the parks a big first step. Any suggestions?

I agree. there were not many skis that were not better than the domains. almost every park ski i rode i like way more than k2's line of park skis this year. if youre looking for an awesome rockered park ski i highly suggest the 2012. blows the domains out of the water.

See, I felt the EXACT opposite, I hated the 2012 and loved the Domain, it does have a lot to do with riding style and what you like to do on skis. I demoed the 2012 and they were too stiff and fairly unresponsive for me, they just weren't a lot of fun for me personally, while the Domain was awesome for me, nice and soft and playful and really just fun to have on my feet. But, too each his own, and can certainly see why someone would like to ride the 2012 over the Domain, especially if you really like to do jumps.

no, it's "zero camber" which is considered to be completely flat, but there is some camber (very little) underfoot.

nailed it exactly. the 2012's held it down on the 70 foot jump where the domains felt a little squishy for me. i dont mind the stiffness because i can milk a little extra pop out of them.
and that folks is why everyone needs to go ride a bunch of skis before buying them.

can anyone tell me how the domains rode on groomers and such, how responsive are they, can the edges dig into the snow well etc...

thanks

anyone tried out the revivals? i know they arnt symmetrical like the domains, but that maiden graphic is amazing...

They don't look factory waxed, but out of the box they were too fast for the rails I was hitting. I had to start like 3 feet from the lip haha.

They come factory waxed...but I usually scrape and re-wax all my new skis...but I wax my skis myself, so it's not a big deal.

i just mounted mine up with my pivot 14s last night. can not wait to get out on snow on these. they're so much fun.

pop comes from you rarely does the ski offer any extra pop, so how much pop you got in yer knees

i LOVE mine... i look at footage of me hitting rails and pause and you would not belive how much thesebend! such a fun and flexable ski!
