Domain, Recoil, Blend, AR7

Hello guys! I know i'm kinda late for this, but I would need some advices on a next pair of ski that I'll probably buy in the following week. My last two pairs were AR6 and Thall. I ski about 20% all mountain(pow when theres some) and 80% park(only rails). I'm 19, approximatly 5'8 and weight 145.

I'm heading to give a try to the K2 Domain(to try the jib rocker), but was also thinking about the recoil, blend and ar7.

Blend looks like a fun ski too but maybe a bit to large to ski every day park.

And what size should I get ? last pair was 171 so was heading for someting like ~175.

you totally should look at ARTificial the nurture and there's a discount on them ! check theres a thread on them close to your. they totally fit wath you want from watgh i heard!
 
line TC's or chronics for sure. chronic i think would be a good choice my bro has last years and loves his. they slay the park and charge all mountain.
 
domain and recoil will ski similarly. ive skied both. recoil is more stable and directional. domain is a soft buttery symmetrical twin. both nice is youre spending a lot of time in the park. the recoil holds an edge a lot better on the rest of the hill
 
Yes, the domain is jib rockered meaning flat underfoot. It holds up great in the park and is playful and buttery. The recoil is a little stiffer. Specifically, the recoil is a great all-mountian ski that also rips in the park, especially good in urban situations and large jumps.. Its all-terrain rocker makes carving effortless. It may be slightly heavier than other park skis but this only reiterates its durability.

 
I have the domain and love it. You can swap and shuffle easily with the rocker, the ski description literally matches the percent of what you ski.

But what size do you think I should get? Last pair was 171 but I think K2 sizes are a bit taller..? And since I only do rails..
 
Since you only do rails you would be better off sticking with the 171, its about right for your height and weight. The only advantage of going longer would be for stability at speed/all mountain versatility, which won't benefit you much.
 
I don't think they make the domain in a 171. How much do you weigh and how aggressive do you ride? I would say if you're 165-170+ and aggressive you'd like a longer length. Yes, k2 does extend their skis out because of the rocker. My 179 maidens are probably more 184 ha
 
I would say I'm mid aggressive haha I'm about 5'8 and weight -145

I'm hesiting between 169 and 174.. And if I remember(because I didn't ski much yet this season) I think my 171 thall were a bit too small.
 
Thanks! But is it still okay since we only have rails ? Will not be a bit too tall for that ?

if you don't want to ride any jumps 169 will be fine too, it's only 5cm, if you thought your thalls were too short you are better off going longer, that's all.
