I have been a fan of theirs since I have seen the documentary on them "Dogtown and the Z-Boys" and met Stacy Peralta I am happy to see that they decided to turn it into an actual movie and from the trailer it seems very true to the real life footage. check out the trailer. http://www.apple.com/trailers/sony_pictures/lords_of_dogtown/

if you havnt seen the documentary on them you should its a pretty cool movie and they are pretty much the origin of what skateboarding is today.

Holly shit the more I look at the trailer the more hyped I am abou this Movie.

between Lords of Dogtown, The Hitchhikers guide to the Galaxy, Charlie and the chocolate factory, and Sin City this is going to be a good movie year.

I was whatching that movie at Windells and I fell asleep in the middle of it in some kids bed....when I woke up they wrote a bunch of shit all over my face.

The documentary came out in 2001. Lord of Dogtowns will show in theaters this Summer it is a Studio movie not a documentary. but you can see from the trailer that they reshot most of the scenes seen in the documentary.

 
the movie doesn't look very good, but if you're interested in them then it should be entertaining at least

i saw that documentary a while back and really enjoyed it. i was decently excited for this movie to come out til i figured out heath ledger was in it. he just doesn't quite fit in there for me, ya know
