Dog out of a window and deer stuck in a gate

so for some reason ive seen some really messed up shit lately. while i was visiting home the other week driving through a town near mine i saw a car stopped looking at some house and when we pulled up closer there was a huge female deer...stuck in a gate (pics to come). it looked like the deer freaked out and tried to get out of this mansions yard and thought she could fit through about a 10 inch wide gap. it was one of the most disgusting things i've seen ever and it smelled even worse.

so i got back to boulder the other day and i kinda put the deer in my past but the craziest thing happened that slightly reminded me of the deer. my friend came over with his brown lab (1 yr old and about 85-90 lbs). anyway we were driving back to his house from my apartment and i was sitting in the back seat with Phloyd, the dog. anyway we're driving down Broadway for those who know the area which is a 4 lane pretty major road. we were going right by kittridge on CU's campus about 35mph and i look over and watch Phloyd put his two front paws on the door (the window was rolled all the way down) and hop right out superman style like he saw something special. i yelled "he jumped out the window" and my friend who owned the dog slamed on the brakes. his girlfriend was screaming the entire time this happened btw. we look behind us as the dog is yelping, skidding over the concrete and gets up and is inches away from being run over. keep in mind we were in the left lane and the dog jumped into oncoming traffic and if you know boulder you know Broadway is a pretty busy street in front of the university. so.... SOMEHOW the dog was fine. NO blood and NO life threatening injuries. He is limping but he'll be fine. This dog is a miracle to be alive i can't believe i witnessed it happen it was so crazy. So moral of the story dont underestimate your dog jumping out of a window. they MAY get curious at times. Beware!

the deer thing is discusting and extreamly sad because it prolly died a slow and painful death. that dog got so lucky once that happened right in front of my house it wasnt my dog but i saw it and i started crying alittle. the guy got out of his car adn was ballin his eyes out laying witht he dog when it was bleedign everywhere.
 
we got our dog from a pound, it was a 9 year old springer spaniel, and damn did it live up to its name.

the first day my dads girlfriend got it, he was in her car on her way to work with him. she was talking to him the whole way there (and hes deaf, but we didnt know at the time), she gets to work, turns around, and the dog is gone. the road she drives to work has a 45-55 mph speed limit the whole way there, and 1 stoplight, but she was positive that he was in the car after they went through it. she spent 3 hours driving up and down the road looking for him and found nothing. the next day driving to work she saw him just walking down the side of the road. she pulled over and stopped, opened the door and he jumped right in.

then a week later she decided to not bring him to work for once, so she left him home alone (he has separation anxiety disorder, but we didnt know at the time.) about 5 hours after she left for work, my brother and i went over to check on him, we pulled up and he was panting in the driveway. then we look up and see that the blinds are ripped down in my room and theres a big hole in the screen. so he jumped from the floor, to the bed, through the screen/blinds, out a 2nd story window, onto my asphalt driveway.

he didnt get hurt from either of these things, and my dog is a crazy fucker.

yeah it was extremely sad to think about and it was a lot bigger then it looks in that picture. it doesnt do it justice at all. this was a full grown deer i dont even like thinking about it
 
my dog jumped out the window when i was taking him to doggy daycare once. but we were at a stoplight, so i just got out and dragged him back in the car. he saw some lady walking her dog and wanted to go say whatsup.
