Yeah I agree. Though I still think there is some lack of sense of reality.. or something.. when people think eating dogs/cats is the craziest shit they've ever heard. Even the act of killing a cow vs cat, cows gonna go just because of the way we interact with cats, not because they have any less feelings of fear/pain, so in that sense I think people can be biased towards species inappropriately. I bet most of the people in this thread wouldn't kill a dog and I am just kind of like... y though...

No not really I know how mistreated farm animals are, and Being that I eat them I really don't care I guess that makes me a bad person. But I know all about baby cows being chained up so they can't walk so they don't grow muscle. Genetically modified cows and how they use knives to slit their throats. I think it's because we eat them we don't care, but in sure most people know they are being mistreated.

Also I think a good analogy for this is the difference between killing in combat (ie doing your job if you're a soldier) and killing out of cold blood or even enjoyment. I don't think it's right to kill anyone but if you are a soldier you kind of have no choice other than to not be there in the first place, which isn't really an option if your broke and can't afford college and the military is all like "we got you dawg just shoot some Arabs!"

I don't support war but I think it's the higher ups who never have to hold a gun or take anyone's life that should be condemned.
