Dog at the mountain

readiculous

So, I've started to bring my dog with me when I head to the mountain.

I can't tell which is better;

1. leave him home alone all day

or

2. to take him with me and let him out of the car to run around, and take a shit a few times.

Does anybody else bring fido with them? or Am I being a complete dick to my dog?

Yer thoughts...

Well as long as he is stoked on riding in the car and it isn't too cold i say it is fine. If you left him home he would just be lying around all day anyways, so at least this way you get to go way whatup now and then and let him out to piss and crap. As long as he doesn't mind riding in the car and wants to come along, i say it's fine.

Yeah, So,

Get there at 9, let him run around

Come back at Noon, let him run and poo

Leave at around 4, let him run before we go

or

Leave him home from 7am-6pm

thats what I was thinking. The only thing is the car can get cold. I crank the heat right before I leave, but on really cold days I come back and the car's freezing.

Dog seems fine though.

if your dog likes it, and can handle it, go for it. but dont bring him on the hill. i knew a guy that tripped over somebody's dog while skiing and broke his neck. and the dog got hurt in some way i cant remember too.

your car can act as a refrigerator would and actually become colder than the outside air temperature. (likewise, on a warm sunny day your car will get a whole lot hotter than the outside air.) I'd say leave the dog home because you never know, and just because the dog seems fine in the cold doesn't mean much. better safe than sorry.

some of our parkstaff guys let the dogs roam around the hill. and the owners dog just runs around and chills with people on the patio.

shittttttt

that's what my dog is, he will be fine in the cold. he used to be the most active dog ever till he got hit by a car. now he can't run too good hahah. he is still a badass though.

You could put a load of blankets in the car. I just get like two comforters from Wal-Mart and let my dog just bury himself in it.

one time this lady let her dogs run around the bottom of this mtn, and one ran in front of an incoming chair and got nailed, but ran away safey    The End

yea man take him with you. my dog is stoked when he comes on holiday. just leave him in the resort or let him come up the mountain with you depending oin how fit he is
