in urban rails when there is hardly any snow on the landings and skiers go on to the pavement doesnt that like make huge scrapes and black marks on the bottom of their skis?
haha whaat? thats not how you use a p-tex candle at aaaall haha. You're supposed to light one end and it'll burn like a candle, hold at a 45 degree downward angle and let it drip into the holes. then you scrape it. haha you dont iron it in.
you can iron it in, and it doesn't leave black marks on your babse either, and actually shops use a tool that looks somewhat like a hot glue gun to melt the p-tex and your bases slightly so that it ensures a proper finish
i worked in a ski shop for a week for work experience for school, and the guy used that. well it was either that or just a lighter. and we did it downstairs in the basement. the whole place was full of fumes.
