does your hill/mountain park have helmets mandatory?

just wanna know, cause lots of places around alberta make you wear a helmet, not that i am complaining because i've had some bad falls

nope...but i wear a self customized helmet with spikes. Buyah grandma...but helmets should be mandatory...when patrol has to scrape kids off the slopes...thats not exactly a pleasant skiing experience...

at killinton in december some little like 8 year old kid was unloading the lift at castlerock peak. well he didnt get off the lift in time and the ground started dropping away from underneath him because he was going out over the unloading ramp. he jumped off when the ground was like ten feet below him and looked like he died. he got up casually and rode away, because he had a helmet on. he slammed his head pretty good on the ground...

well theres no helmet mandatory law around here in mass nh vt area. like if im not jumping and just skiing around i wont wear a helmet but if im jumping at like mt snow i'll wear one b/c the jumps are big which make the risks even bigger. but at wachusett i wont wear a helmet sometimes jumping b/c the jumps are small and i dont really try there. just depends on where i am and what im doing

Well only in the park and pipe. I just think everyone should wear one! I lost 3 months of memory falling on the smallest jump I've ever hit, doing the easiest trick and just catching an edge in a completely random way. It's always when you are just fooling around, doing something you know you will never get hurt doing, that you hit your head and end up in the hospital.

In pennsylvania they do not make us wear helmets except in comps. i wear one anyway and so do most of the guys who try anything new here. Tanner Hall has a giro helmet.
