to make a generalization of a religion/culture is the most ignorant thing you can possibly do.

i went to visit my grandfather at the hostipal today and there was a muslim patient and his wife in the bed next to him. we started talking and she told us that she had lost her son and daughter-in-law in the world trade center. besides that she told us about her family and we just talked for a little while and she was by far on of the nicest people i think i have ever had a conversation with.

if you are so close-minded you wont get very far.

 
I was up late last night, and for a second Jenna^ I thought you said 'making a generalization of a religion/culture is the most important thing you can possibly do', I was dumbfounded. Then good ole' vision kicked in and I realized what you really said.

Capurnicus summed it up nicely, the Muslim Extremists are the people who PunkRider doesn't like. Plus, he assumes that what his friend told him about the religion is entirely true. The Muslim religion is the scapegoat for terrorist attacks around the world, when in reality it is the Extremists like Al Queda who take it into violence.

Apparently PunkRider has yet to learn a few handy lessons in life regarding his gullibility. He should also learn to use his self-claimed education and research deeper into a potentially offensive topic before making racist comments and acting like a bigot.
