Does this make any sense?

So these two kids got into a fight last night, and one asked me to go to the fight to watch. So I figure, "hey, I won't be doing anything wrong," and I go. At the end of the fight, one kid's mom comes out and breaks it up. Me and the kid who brought me there left. So today, my mom has me sit down and asks me what I did last night. Apparently the kid's mom called her and told her that I was there, but I didn't do anything at all. AND I GET IN TROUBLE. I can only drive the car to work, and I can't see my girlfriend all week. What the fuck? Her reason was "you shouldn't have been there." Does this seem reasonable AT ALL? What the hell should I do?
 
yes it makes sense to me. I've had some shit like that happening, I know it sucks but it better something small like that than something illegal. Exemple: Let's say you are with your friends and they decide to break their school's windows and shit. You don't do nothing, you just watch... but you are still there. If the police gets you, you're going to be in trouble too even if you did not do something bad.
 
hate how shit works out liek that, prolly happens that way cuz u could have tried to stop it, but that ruins the fun of whatching

there was a fight at a hs near me a while back and a lot of kids watched and someone videotaped and the cops got a hold of it and all the kids watching got arrested or tickets or some shit cause its illegal
 
Ya I had a similar situation. My friends bro was throwin a huge party with alcohol and they're all 18. His little bro was my friend so we got out group of friends together and we were gonna chill in the basement. Right when we got there it got busted by the cops. All of my friends and me got in trouble because the cops called our parents and made us all leave.
 
that happened to me at a fight at school once...and JUST me there was like twenty other kids there but i guess i was just picked out cause he knew who i was
