Does the white ipod wheel get dirty ?

i've only rocked the all black video, but i'd be down with getting the new silver all metal 160gb. however, a guy at futureshop told me that white click-wheels tend to get really dirty and showed me a rather nasty one that was on display ... so does anyone have something to say about that ?
 
cant you get things to cover it? kinda like the screen protectors but for the click weel? i dont know anything about it cause i get blacks
 
no don't worry, definitely get the white, i'm mad at myself for getting the black.

but the one he showed you, you said was on display, meaning probably thousands of people rubbed their dirty little unwashed hands all over them. just have a little respect for your body and practice body hygeine and you won't have anything to worry about
 
i also hear that some people say that the contrast on the white ipod while your watching a video makes it harder to watch than a black border around the screen. idk if that is true and u may not be wathing many videos on it but it was interesting. i would get whit. everyone has black
 
yea cause another downside of the black one is that I find that fingerprints and all tend to show a lot more
 
i have the answer to your or-deal. simply wipe the wheel w/ a clorox disinfecting wet wipe everytime you see build up of some dirt. it disinfects soo your slimy germs dont get spread and you'll feel better about being cleaner.
 
How big are the 160s thickness wise... same as the 80gb? I've got the 80, black, like literally a week before the new iPods were announced. But I'm just curious
