Does Orange Fencing work with notches on roll in

on my jib i have notches about half an inch high so the snow will stay and will it work with orange fence and no snow or will it fall off or scrape my bottoms?

i didnt have notches in my drop for snow, but i used masonite and snow fence (orange fencing) and it worked fine, works good too for a in run w/ carpet under it..
