Does Max Morello really have no ski sponsor?

^ its not quite that simple. Getting a decent sponsor is not as easy as everyone thinks. A big brand like atomic or salomon may be super interested in a guy but getting the funding to add a new team member is not always that simple. For the guys who fund teams they want to see results or video parts to see that there is exposure for there investment so they will make a return on investment. For max he has been building up that exposure. This is his second year with pbp and that will be big for him.

There was quite a bit of interest in max last year, so hopefully this may be the year he can really breakthrough and get the backing he deserves.
 
Pretty sure the both way 270 on that quad kink is what got him hooked up with filming for poorboyz anyway, like pete alport just gave a shout out in a thread and told him to contact him because he wanted to film him if i remember right.
 
yeah pretty much all level 4 instructors at whis are on sponsorship deals, theyll usually get pretty much every different top level ski from a manufacturer.

1) because theyre insane skiiers

2) because they can recommend skis that would usually result in sales almost every day

level 4's usually do privates = people who do privates have money = easily persueded into buying a certain pair
 
Your kind of right, its not really sponsored though. They don't get any money from the manufacturers and they don't get a limitless supply of gear. They will generally get a pair if boots at the start o the season and a ski an binding. 15 of the very top guys get free boot fitting but the rest have to still pay for fitting and foot beds ect. But yeah it does work well to help sales. Almost more inportant though is the service they get in the shops. If you can fit there boots as well as possible they will bring you clients. It's partly that reason that most of the top fitters aRe on those type of hookups as well, which was nice.
