Does it matter I beat on my pow skis edges

Yo long story short, went for a tour parking lot had an absolutely proper hand rail. On the way out just couldn’t help it built it hit it a few times and the sticks are showing the use? Should I care? How would you guys fix it?

is it underfoot? assuming it's the edge that have started pulling out. i would put some glue/epoxy on the area and put a vice on it to push the edge in. could also hammer it gently, but might just pop out again.

Yeah it’s dead center underfoot. The edges actually seem to still be holding on good it seems. I’m trying to decide it I want to bust out the razer and cut it all back a little cleaner and fill with epoxy or if I should just fill in the little random holes as is

i would just fill the hole as it is. park skis will get beat anyway. i had the same thing on a pair of skis, hit a rock and it pulled out some material next to the edge. i never touched it and the ski rode just like it used to.
 
Probably not too bad if your only skiing pow with them, I had a very similar experience and now I just don’t use my pow skis on rails

Kinda what I was thinking seeing as riding pow it’s not like you are using edges?‍♀️ I just filled the holes with epoxy to keep water out guess I’ll be keeping the bentchetlers away from rails now that one was just to good to pass up
 
Pow skis don't typically last that long with rail use, given a lot of companies (like armada for example) like to downsize to 1.7mm edges to save weight. Not that I don't occasionally hit a rail on my pow skis for the exact same reason as you, sometimes there's just a feature calling to you and you're on the wrong skis.

Personally I don't care much about the condition of my pow skis bc you don't notice much damage when you're skiing pow. Getting back to the lift on groomers can be pretty awkward though.
