Not really... I just don't understand why you don't want to ski longer skis. It's more fun. You go faster, tricks feel better. They're more stable on landings. anyways 163s are short, but some people do ski like 151s. So.

 
yeha i'f you're like 5'8' to 5'11' stay around 173-176 .. perfect .. not too short, not too long.

Im getting ready to buy some 1260's they are 164 but I'm about sick of riding big skis I had some concepts that were 180 and I now just riding around on some speed 63 that are 184.

There is no such thing as shitty snow only shitty skiers.

If it was easy they would call it snowboarding.

I'm 5'1 and I'm on 168 scratches. You will all think they're too long, but they're fine for me, you get used to long skis and the slowness in the air makes things smoother.

 
im 5'8' and ski on 177 1080s and 179 pistols. work great for me.

I feel bad for people who don't drink, cause when they wake up in the morning, thats the best the're going to feel all day

im buying 4frnts and im still torn between 170s and 180s, the skis i have right now are 168s. im 5' 11'' and ive never rode anything longer than the skis i have. im going to center mount my skis regardless.

i know some skis are shorter or longer than what they say, does anyone know if they run short or long??

i ride 161's and i'm onlylike 5'4, but my next pair (gonna be my last pair of skis because i don't plan on growing bigger) is gonna be a nice solid pair of 179's probably on the K2 side of things.

im only 5'5' and im rockin the 175's, bu thats for telemark, imm on 158's and 155's for alpine, but there getting a little stubby. you might want ot bump it up a little if your 5'11'
