i just found this chocolate bunny from easter in my drawer and i dont want to get sick. is it safe?

i dont think chocolate does, but i found out apple sauce does when i made pork chops after being gone a couple weeks.

ehh i dont know how long it takes for it to go bad, but eventually it does becaus once when i was littler i ate a little chocolate coin and it was SO BAD ewww. but if its from easter 08, i dont know it might still be ok. depends. but dont take my word for it.

if it's from this easter an dit's sealed up good i bet you're fine but chocolate definitely goes bad just not for awhile

chocolate doesnt get like unsafe but it gets super nasty, a few years ago i opened like a 6 month old chocolate santa and it tasted like crunchy asshole

i dont think it has preservatives. here are the ingridients:

Milk chocolate (sugar, whole milk powder, cocoa butter, belgian cocoa mass, butter oil, soya lecithin [an emulsifier], vanilla extract).

should be fine. I remember when I was younger my big bro had a huge ass chocolate bunny in his room that had been there for like 2 years. I would always sneak in there and take a mouth full.

i just took a bite of it and it tasted pretty gross. like it was soggy. then i almost puked to the aftertaste

chocolate itself doesnt go bad but the wrapper inside can mold, so unless theres mold on it that you can see its fine

you just reminded me of my chocolate rabbit that has been sitting on my dresser since easter. i am eating mine right now and there is nothing wrong with it. it was in a plastic wrapper, tied with a string.

yea maybe it was all in my head but it didnt taste that good. ill test it ut again later and see if it still tastes like ass

it's called tempering. in order to make sure chocolate keeps its shiny gleen, you have to heat the melted mixture of mouthwatering miracles (see what I did there? alliteration. yes.) to a certain temperature, cool it down and then heat it again. if you fuck it up it will get those weird light brown spots on it when it cools. or, if you get it already done (wrapped, made, whatever) and it heats up and cools down, it will turn ugly, too.

why do i know that.

idk if chocolate goes bad, but dead whales do!

yeah chocolate goes bad. But you can usually tell when it has...its turns a lighter color, light dark chocolate or milk chocolate will turn a chalky light brown.
