I just got home from a trip to utah with me and my boy(awsomecoolguy) and we skied at parkcity(SICKK), alta, solitude(which sucks) and last but not least brighten. I was satisfied with the park, although there were alot of snowboarders, they had some different features and i just dont think they get enough respect.

Just tell me what you think of the place, and why there are no skiers there.

aparently they dont considering you spelt the name wrong. Im pretty sure its brighton, correct me if im wrong.

I only go night skiing at brihgton it is pretty nice there are alot of snowboarders and their season passes are like 500 dollars so alot of us poor skiers can afford it.

Its pretty fun stuff there. There are so many drops all over the place. The only problem is that the terrain is so varied that you have to keep your speed up or you get stuck on flats.

i bet you just didnt ski any fresh snow at solitude. that mountain can be lots of fun if theres been snow in the past few days

yea when i went they had alot of new snow and we hiked alot, but i was saying that on a day without fresh snow i wouldnt want to go there.

ya thats what i was guna ask...obviously you didnt go to solitude on a freshie day. because on pow days solitude is tons of fun

Brighton is my other mountain. Brighton definately get the props, did you get to hit all three parks in the one run or did you not know about that??? Well yeah everyone around here loves it its just more expensive. There park is packed with features and the vibe is superb. They also have really easy backcountry access. They have nice sized jumps. And alot of really really fun unique rails. I love brighton.

yea that was a sick run with the 3 parks in a row, we did that like all day cuz it was so hot. so we couldnt ski pow

I have a brighton season pass

Pros:

Best mixture of big mountain and park out of any ski hill in utah

Park is second to PC in Utah.

A lot of great cliff drops and short technical aspects

Some of the best BC access anywhere

never a lift line on millicent

Cons:

Too many snowboarders with doo rags

lacks verticle

lakcs steep sustained pitches

Brightons pretty flat but they got some decent cliff bands, too many trendy fagbucket snowboarders who suck and think they rip.
