Does Bishop Have Any Ownership of Newschoolers?

Does Bishop own any NS stock? I know they aren't publicly traded but like what percentage of the company does he own? Or is it completely owned by TEN and he is just an employee.

Was thinking about how long NS has managed to stay core and now I'm wondering if it'll be like that forever.

I mean, if he is just an employee, then what's stopping TEN from coming in and turning everything into a lame, money oriented, non-core site like freeskier?

I guess I just never really thought about the ownership of NS, who was rights to what, who owns what percentage, etc.
 
From what I understand Bishop is the boss of newschoolers or ceo or whatever he's called. However NS is owned by the The Enthusiast Network.

That's what I figured/was afraid of.

That means that TEN coming in and changing shit up is a real threat, and that gives me the heebie jeebies. (especially with the way skiing is taking a turn for the mainstream)

I wouldn't be too worried to be honest. TEN isn't like walmart where all they care about is profits. They're the single largest corporation for action sport enthusiasts. They even own Transworld, Powder magazine, Grind TV and a few other really cool websites. Everything will be all good.

Interesting. Didn't know that. Crisis averted I guess.

Still would be cool to hear Bishop's perspective. I guess my distrust of corporations is unwarranted this time.

Also would like to know how much room Bishop is given in terms of calling the shots. Maybe that's a bit of a personal question though.

Yes and if you know about the TEN network you best be believing that down the road they may even sponsor a skiing video game. TEN owns transworld, transworld once produced a surfing game. Which was pretty fun at the time.

Bishop's going to come on here and say one day I was banging by friends sister and Toyota was so impressed they started buying ad space. And the rest is history!
