Does anyone wear a back protector?

I was thinking of starting to wear one just when i'm flipping or doing sketchier stuff, because i figure why not be as protected as I possibly can. Do you guys wear one, have any advice or know of any downsides to wearing them? Also, which ones would you recommend?

ive been looking into them after fliping onto my back into rocks last year.

ive tried on the black poc one and it isnt restricting at all

I'm considering buying one. Broken legs, arms, and collar bones are one thing - a torn spinal cord is another.

I've worn one for the last 8 years, used it racing but when I got into freestyle I just kept wearing it, I won't ski with out mine. Plus it keeps me a bit warmer.

I wear my black poc vpo 2.0 everyday i ski. Has saved me from serious back injury twice in the last year and those injuries could have possibly made me never ski again. I find it not restricting and don't even feel it unless i am sitting on the chair and it isn't bad. Girl I knew is paralyzed from waist down cause she wasn't wearing one. I would highly suggest getting one
