I'm sure you've all seen this jump in movie. It's the one that Anthony B's last four shots in WAR are at. I Think the fisrt time it was filmed was for Lame. David Benedek did a rodeo 9 and a 9 a shifty on it. It's also been in Chulksmack, and From MDP With Love. Does anybody Know roughly where this jump is. I'm pretty sure it's down in southern Idaho around Pocatello but I've never found out exactly where it is. I'g like to go hit it up over Christmas Break if we get dumped on.

Idaho Represent.

It's not in Montana. If you have the issue of Skeeze it's the jump in the sequence of Chris Benchetler doing a switch ( and it says Idaho Backcountry. But it's not a very good picture of it. I'll try and find a picture of it but I can't think of any I've seen on the internet.

Here are some not so good picks of it.

I don't know where it is, but if i did i sure as hell wouldn't tell anyone here. half the fun of backcountry skiing is going out and finding somthing original and fun to do, not just building a jump that everyone hits. Don't get me wrong, im sure it would be super sick to hit, but there's cool stuff everywhere, you dont need to poach out someone elses location to get a good jump

i actually know where it is, i live in missoula MT, and its about 1 hour away, its right on the MT-ID border, but that is all i will say, good luck

^Sweet. It's not like this jump is a big secret or anything. It was in half the ski and snowboard movies that came out this yer. During the winter there is a perminent jump there because people don't even bother to knock it over after their done. I think as a local I deserve to know where it is. All these crews from outta state know where it is. If anyone's poaching it it's them. But since no one is going to give it up I'm just gunna ask Louie Fountain since he moved back to town or his brother Joey. They are the ones who found it in the first place.

hahaha you dink how the fuck are they poaching if they are the ones that built it and you dont even know where it is

They didn't build it though or at least they didn't find it. The Robot crew found it and now everyone knows where it is and they hit it. I just think the film crews should stay out of Idaho and Montana for that matter. We don't need all the hype of Colorado, California, and Utah. I like that nobody skis in Idaho eventhough we get more snow than Colorado.

Totally selfish. Dude people have been coming to my state for urban...and now my town(See community project). It's no big thing...

Oh, and one thing Telestar...you said you deserve to know because you're a local...You should find it and keep it to yourself because you're a local...and help other people out if you want to.

The fact is if he was asking directions to Chads 20 kids would have answered his question redundantly just to prove that they know where it is and make themselves feel cool and "in the know" about skiing. So what we can conclude about this thread is... no one knows?

Yeah I guess so. Except Schwags, I know he knows where it is because it was in his movie. I just wanted to find it because it looks like an amazing jump. There is this huge face behind it that doesn't look like any of the mountains I've ever seen in Idaho. Mostly I was just curious. I tlooks like a funspot to hit and take pictures at.

i lyk have totally seen the jump in afterlame and stuff but lyk i don't actually knoooo wher the jupm is. whatever. your not smarter then me.

JOHNNY MARX IS BOISES MOST BLUNTED!!!!!

and to bcsweep, im not saying your a poacher, im just saying that im not that into people just trying to find jumps that have already been sessioned to pieces. its just my opinion, you dont need to come back with somthing like "oh you tard" when i dont even insult you. so untie your panties and just go skiing

I don't see why that spot is so incredibly special, I live in montana and know for a fact that you don't have to move for more than a mile in any direction to find a good spot for a jump. That, and montana and idaho have so much good terrain around that it's kind of pointless to go to the backcountry just to hit a jump.
