Does anyone know the maximum/minumum punishment for getting caught with a half pount of nug?

my friend just got arrested, and im going to fucking colorado with him in like 2 and a half weeks. he's 16, and has a clean record....it wasnt bagged up or anything...if you have a decent idea of what the verdict will be, let me know.
 
was he selling or buying or what? if so thats another thing he can be put under.

they can get him with intent to sell & possession.

if he said and admitted it was his though he will most likely only get possession.

cause if he admits that it was not his, he was a buyer as well as a person would could have an intent to sell.

id say prolly 50 days in bars.

prolly community service.

add therapy for the drugs.

all depends if they get him as an adult too.

 
not too much bad. Remember how much america sweats kids, they prob wont even put it on his permanent record. hell have lotta probation but theyre not gonna stick it to a 16 year old. Especially for weeda
 
Depending what state it was in almost for sure probation and quite a bit of CS. Some sort of court fee or fine will add up to, I kinda doubt he will be tryed as an adult. Let us know what hapenes

Newschoolers is a dumb place to ask this question... the very first thing he's going to learn when he goes to court is what the max/min penaties are.
