Does anyone know how to moonwalk?

Ive checked the search bar and no thread of this exsists. I have a dance coming up and i wanna throw down. Please refrain from making negative comments. If you are feeling negative go under the regional forums and make fun of some country that sounds funny like "Luxemburg".

yeah, you just lift up your right heel, keeping your right toe/ball of right foot on floor, put pretty much all your weight on that foot, then slide your left foot backwards while keeping it flat on the floor. then repeat, but switch feet.

just like practice slow and then move faster?

yeah pretty much. oh yeah and practice like in socks on a smooth surface like hardwood floors or something, so you can slide easily.

you'll have to practice alot. you'd be surprised how tough it is to get the hang of it. i'd also advise learning other dance moves cause there will always be that guy that goes to outdo you, and then you look like an ass cause all you got is the moonwalk. and thats when you can really get served bad.

the secret to a successful moonwalk is to add some style and emphasis to it. really exagerate the walking and be sure to pull the heel down quickly after. it's really hard to explain but you'll learn fast

The key to the moonwalk is pushing with the ball of your feet, not just sliding it behind you. You really got to push your other foot back and emphasize pulling your heel down.

i can moonwalk, learn first in socks on a wood floor, then move on from that. push off the ball of your pointed foot and slide the flat foot back, point the flat foot and flatten the pointed foot and push off the pointed foot
