Does anyone know how to make skis?

Does anyone in here know how to build real skis. do you need any special machinery. or any links to sites bout this would be cool. thanks

 
Uhhhh....not to crush your dreams or anyhting dude.....but go buy some skis unless you're looking at starting a company or something. Making skis would be mad technical work. Look at even the big companies...tehy don't get it right all the tiem etiher. I think you're way better off going and buying a nice pair then trying to slap some shit together and make your own....

just my 2 cents though.

yea its pretty hard to make, you have to get some ski presses too you that are pretty expensive but you can buy them off companys like some smaller ski companys have done but still alot of money,i wouldnt recommend even trying it

ok, first you gotta cut down a big oak tree. next, you have to..... haha, no.... dude, i don't think you can just make your own skis with your daddies' workbench and tools.

You know something that would really make me applaud? A guy gets stuck in quicksand, then sinks, then suddenly comes shooting out, riding on water skis. How do they do that?

Go to a sportmart type store and buy some straight skis (yes those old long ones) for about 10-20 bucks. Then you can make twintips and experiment with modifications. As from making stuff from scratch, GOOD LUCK...i think?

i am guessing that he probably making a pair of skis for some sort of school project...something similar was discussed on here a while ago...try searching around.
