Does anyone here still shoot film?

so i found some exposed and yet to be exposed color film in my closet and decided to shoot what i had left and get developed what i had sitting around. Just a few frames out of 4 rolls (2 that i have yet to develop)
I thought i had shot these with a G series Contax but realized partway through my upload that a roll or two was shot with a holga.

Ernst Leitz Wetzlar is the cofounder of Leitz camera, an later renamed Leica. "Leitz-Camera --> Lei-ca." So it should predate into the early '50s.
What's the serial? Wondering if it's a IIIf.

The photographer I work with, Ben does. He lets me use it, he's the only person I let borrow my gear and vice-versa.

He's got a 80mm f2.8 and a 150mm f4. Wonderful camera to shoot, it's all I'd ever shoot if I could afford the film all the time.

I actually called Jeff to see if he (and, I would have hope he would have invited you) to come when i went out that day, but he didn't answer, and called back only about 5 minutes before I shot that one! It's out by the lake, where the site of the historic Saltair is.

Just saw this thread again and I actually never sent in that roll of film that I shot months ago to be developed until yesterday. Like I was saying, it's my first roll of film and it's been expired since about 2004. We'll see how it turns out, it could be cool or it could just be crap. Haha

Holy shit I just realized it took me almost a year to shoot and send out a roll of film... how's that for procrastination? Haha, shooting digital all the time really must just make me spoiled.

503s are beautiful. I swear I would never go back to Hasselblad, unless it was with that camera. And the 80 2.8 is such a solid lens, perfect for medium format. I wish I could mount mine to my Pentax, haha.

How have I never seen this thread! I shoot 35mm on a Canon F1 with a 50 F1.4, 135 F3.5, and a 200 F4. I mostly shoot cheap or expired C-41 and then Ilford Hp5 but I'm hoping to order some portra, velvia, and delta 100/400 off of B&H soon. Film is so expensive in Canada, one role of portra 400 can be like $15 with tax. I don't have anything to post right now but once I get some roles developed I will.

I also have a Pentax k1000 (6/10) with a 50mm F2 (10/10, professionally cleaned) for sale if anyone is looking to get into shooting film. Shoot me a pm and we can figure out a price, this is an awesome camera!

Does anyone have any experience with kiev 88's? There is a good deal on one on a local used site. I'm wanting to get into medium format this summer and this seems like a good place to start. $200 and I get a the body, two 120 backs, an 80mm 2.8, a 150mm 2.8, and a metered prism (I've read its not very accurate).

I just got into film photography and I shoot with an EOS Rebel 2000 and a 28-80 f3.5-5.6. So far I have shot Ilford HP5 and Kodak ultra max 400 and have a roll of BW400CN in the camera right now. I haven't had the money to get any developed yet.

I am debating getting a better body to replace/compliment the rebel such as an EOS 3 or Elan 7ne (leaning toward eos 3 for weatherproofing), but would probably want to upgrade my glass too if I did that. Anybody have experience with the eye controlled focusing in those, sounds pretty awesome to me.

I am going to try to get my hands on a K1000 and a bunch of vintage glass after I get some other big purchases out of the way. I am also going to try to get into Photography class at my school senior year so I can learn to develop my film

Epson V600 and Canon 9000F

Both are flatbeds with the option to scan film negatives/slides etc..

Both actually operate at a resolution around 2400dpi

Both do a stellar job.

I just ordered the V600 because it looks sexier. Canon's soft grey curves are so 2007.

I picked up an Epson v600 at henrys for around $200-220 with tax and its great. Oh also I'm pretty sure the 9000f only scans 35mm, not 120, so keep that in mind as they cost pretty much the same.

Wow how haven't I seen this thread...

I shoot on a bazillion different 35mm systems, since I'm virtually a fucking collector now... and then I shoot 120 on a Yashica Mat 124g and a Hasselblad 500c/m.

and I just returned from shooting some 6 years expired Ektachrome 160t on my Canon AT-1 during sunset time. Can't wait to see what ugly shots I get out of that.

Has anyone used one of the light meter apps on their smartphone? If so, what was your experience like with it? I'm shooting this weekend and don't have the time or money to buy a $300 light meter.

The one i use is called Light Meter, pretty sure it was free. Does an amazing job. I usually use it to meter for my medium format stuff.
