Does anyone have the Elan Apex 2012 I was thinking of getting, is it a nice ski?

Keep bumping until you find an answer. It might be a while because not many of us use Elans though

Okay. Elan also is not one of the most known brands either.

Looks fine if you want a directional (not twin tip) beginner-intermediate ski designed for on-piste. Elan skis aren't very common or popular, I don't know if that means they suck or just that they are a small company. I haven't ridden anything of theirs.

After checking your profile... you already have Volkl Mantras, why would you get these? They would be a downgrade from your Mantras. If you want new skis, get pow skis or park skis.

The mantras I thought just looked cool to be honest that was really in a whim. It seems the Apexs can ski powder they are under and all mountain category like the mantras. What makes the Apexs so appealing is they are really cheap right now.
