its when one of your vertebrae slips forwards or backwards...

i just found out that my L5 is real out and its super painful. just wondering if anyone has this and what they do the counteract it.

Stretches and stay hydrated, if you are dehydrated your muscles release toxins and that makes them contract witch can pull your vertebrae's out of alignment.
Exercise keep your muscles strongwater keep them hydratedstretches keep flexible

Well, I'm going to have to see some pictures to properly diagnose the situation. Without clothes of course. pm me, I'm a doctor

haha, just fucking around. but seriously, that sounds like a shitty situation. do you know if its something that can be fixed or is it just one of those things you kind of have to live with?

yeah i study massage but i was just wondering specifics that actually help people. from a text book point everything i've read about doesn't seem to help me.

stupid backs.

i have slipped two disks and couldn't afford a doc so now my back is bad. You should youtube it up or look for a trusty sight. There are yoga classes in your area most lightly or buy a yoga book!

I'm pretty sure I have it. Every now and then if I sit for a long time and try and get up, my lower back explodes in pain and I have to re-align my spine or stretch to get it to stop being so painful. Is that symptomatic?

mine pops savagely when i get up from sitting for a while or goes into spasm. but soudns like you need better posture

it usually occurs down in the lumbar spine.. and its kind of obvious when people have it because there will be an indent or notable curvature of the spine. that sounds like whats going on with me right now, its fine if i'm sitting and not moving.. but when i try and stand up its mega pain. its also okay while i'm standing. i was told that mine is from hyper extending my knees (locking them backwards while standing) and its creating a non ideal pelvic tilt which is causing my L5 to slip anterior (towards stomach). just everything i've tried still hurts.. also massaging people all week dosen't help my situation at all either. i'm envious when i'm massaging their low backs haha!

beezy, that sucks heaps... monitor it though because if the middle of the disc gets herniated too badly it can push against your spinal cord and cause damage. sometimes going for massage is real good for "slipped disc" because it can sometimes get that fluid to go back in.

I dislike massages, not a big fan of being touched. Ha but i streach enough and stay active enough so that it doesn't further

hahaha i hear ya... lay in bed, dose up on pain killers, eat a shitload of junkfood and stream heaps of movies.

why is ns so full of retards

get decent job

get health insurance

pay for health insurance

GO TO A FUCKING DOCTOR WHEN YOU'RE HURT/HAVE AIDZ

not that fucking complicated

i'm canadian... health care is free.

if you read any of that, you'd see i study massage therapy... i know the "textbook" ways to treat it... but nothing is helping so i was hoping for some alternative comforts that work for other people.

fuck off.
