as in, if you have feet that arn't exactly proportional to the size of your foot. i have thunder legs, and i wear a 26.5 boot. it seems like the cuff is 2 inches to small. anyone else have this problem?
i had a problem witb it, every like 4 runs i had top stop and unbuckle my boots and like rub all over my calf because it hurt so bad. but u just cant wear them very tight and it should fix ur problem
Stick with boots that have more room for big legs. Head boots are pretty roomy around the calf area. I've heard some models of Dalbello are pretty decent as well. If you run out of options, you could always go with a women's boot...
I have the same problem with the same foot size and i have Dalbello boots that work (minus the shinbag because they are a cheap version) and my dad who also has the same problem is running head boots that seem to do the trick.
ha, while we're on the topic. Are there any good boots, that prevent shin-bang. I got it bad last season. what about the new Salomon boots, aren't those supposed to be super padded?
to answer your question, yes. many companies make boots that cater specifically to freeriding/park riding. check on proctorjones.com under freeride equipment. that should be a good place to start.
