Does anyone get emotional in the mountains?

Like the title says, I always get more emotional in the mountains. Every peak I've climbed over 12,000 ft has ended in happy tears. I generally feel proud that I got to the top, glad that I did not stop, amazed at natures beauty, and lucky that I got to have an experience that Many don't. Also every mountain I've climbed I've summited in time for the sunrise. So I was wondering if anyone else gets more emotional in the mountains or in nature.

Hmmm, emotional? not too often, unless uncontrollable stoke is an emotion. I have embarrassed so many of my friends with uncontrollable giggling every time I get out into the mountains. Last year we did a sunrise hike and apparently I woke up some people sleeping at the top with my giggling at the sunrise from halfway up.

Seriously, mountains just make me stoked, like a little girl at a 1D concert

It depends. Yes in a way. There is an intense emotional response sometime but not in the way of tears more just in awe of everything.

I can't even cry at really sad stuff. I think the last time I cried was when somebody downvoted me and sent me a pm calling me me names. That was pretty rough.

I love the mountains, I love clouds, I love sunsets, I love skiing/snowboarding.

When I get a sunset with nice clouds while I'm skiing or boarding in the mountains that's the shit that calls for a nice beer and a moment full to the brim of feels.
