Does anyone else think Post Malone is massively overrated?

I don’t get it. Like he’s fine, not particularly talented guitar player or vocalist. Made some cool creative choices with some covers on YouTube and everyone is like GIVE THIS GENIUS A GRAMMY

Also every time I say this to someone they act like I’m nuts. Please advise.
 
His music is versatile and I like a lot of it. That said, the whole “treat your body like a middle school desk” is really corny and a bad look.
 
Nah. Owns a ranch in Elko and a ton of friends have run into him. All said he was a super chill and genuine dude.

He doesn't seem that highly rated, just right i'd say. Seems like a cool guy and some of the music is pretty good, some is bad. There's a lot of artists like that.
 
I don't follow Post Malone too closely but he strikes me of like a musical version of Keanu Reeves. He says and does the right things at the right times and for being as popular as he is, seems to be a pretty reasonable dude.
 
Yeah absolutely, but I think it’s cool that he’s proficient in guitar and can kind of sing rock classics. He was also in a metalcore band was a teenager.

There was a dude sitting first row being the bench during the Bruins game the other night and he looked like an idiot bc he resembled Post and Jelly Roll and had no face tats.

with that said... im in vail this summer for an event with my dog ; about to camp for the night... and played a little set under a street light in the corner of vail village... a bachelorette party of 12 started my audience... and by the time my fingers hurt, people were trying to make requests...! so, i played this rendition of "circles" to end my "set".... when i strummed the final chord, a pair of slimy panties hit me directly in the forehead!

It's the 2nd to last house on the right as you drive into BCC. Architecture Digest or some such magazine described it as a mansion "out in the sticks" even though it has a direct fucking view of downtown from like 10 miles away. I guess to them, anywhere that isn't Manhattan or Beverly Hills must just be farm country filled with uncultured yokels

I like him he is cool, but are we going to pretend that there aren’t 1000 people in this stadium alone that could do this just as well or better?

The first song is the only one I remember being actually great I got through like the next 6-8 over produced cookie cutter techno pop tracks and was like ok I’ll put on Austin if I ever need some background music to play mindlessly at a bar. He basically just copied Ed Sheerans last album
 
The first I heard it was from a shitty roommate so that didnt help. And there was a ton of hype. Idk cool to see him mixing it up.

I don't really care that much but I dont hate. People hyped up the tiny desk so I watched that. It was decent. Cool he's doing different things. People clearly dig his music. Good for him.

Tbh ur a bit right post malone is overated but that still doesn’t not make him one of the greatest of our times tbh if u think of bangers a couple years ago majority is prolly post malone?‍♂️ I think he deserves at least one grammy

Don't follow that closely but from what I have heard think he is mid. Like for a song that was supposed to be "Hype" Congratulations fell way short.
