Does anyone else think lil' wayne blows?

He has such a method to his style. I think his crazy lyrics are sick. Rappers dont have to be serious every fucking minute talking about how hard life is and how tough life was for them growing up. Hes just another rapper in the rap community that getting alot more hype than others. The publics personal opinion is reflected in his popularity. Of anything I hated him so much a year or so ago, but that was more because I didnt give him a chance because all my friends thought they were so core for not liking him....In the case of "Hey Look! Im so cool all i listen to is underground hip hop!" well thats good for... you I dont limit my listening to whats accepted by many. Hes enjoyable for me to listen to and honestly if you dont like him...tell it to him. Because complaining about him on here does nothing.
 
Lil wayne is the shit and as far as mainstreem goes yea he has a few songs on the radio but for the most part most of his songs are unheard of. He has hundreds of songs that the radio will never hear. And his lyrics are dope i dont care what you say. Some times i will be listening to one of his songs for the 20th time and ill still be thinking in my head "shit did he really just say that".
 
Oh and one thing i forgot ...ive liked weezy for years but ive always thought that he wouldnt work in a ski movie segment until i saw martini's superunknown for this year and holy fuck it just flows sooooo well with the edit. the song is "the mobb" by weezy

i love most all rap besdies that mike jones/T Pain/chris brown horse manure. Wayne has pretty good flow and does make words that don't rhyme or make sense somehow work, and stops and starts at different times, hard to explain. he does his thing, and its different, and good. props.

but he's got nuttin on lupe and kweli. no doubt.
 
I'm not really feelin weezy that much, he's alright and that song in Martini's edit is pretty good. I don't really like his flow that much.

Also, its kinda redic to put Atmosphere, MF Doom, etc. in the same sentance as Nas. Those are indie rappers and Nas is def. not. Yea, he's alot fuckin smarter than alot of shit you hear out there, but is 20000x rawer than any of those indie rappers. Personally, I think Nas is wayyy better than Weezy.
 
weezy is pretty good i think some of his stuff is excelent and some of it is crap but like the drought 3 and carter 3 mixtapes are real ill
 
i dont care. after the first Soulja Boy song came out and everyone thought he was serious, ive given up on trying to tell people the difference between mainstream and underground and how hes playing off a pretty big joke when people take him 100% seriously as a rapper. i think hes a genius.

if people like it, then let them like it. i personally dont like it at all. but thats just me. i also dont think hes the greatest rapper of all time. i hold that to Nas. BUT i dont openly just rag and hate on Lil Wayne regardless.
