Does anyone else think lil' wayne blows?

some of his songs are ballin as shit.

but he makes the occasional verse that doesnt make sence, and he thinks hes the best rapper alive

i like him, but hes a cocky fucker
 
never really listened to lil wayne, but my friend told me to listen to him and my friend was such a lil wayne hater. he just wanted to kill the guy. but then 2 weeks later he is in love with all of his music. and listening to a couple of his songs i found out that he really is not deserving of life at all. his music is just total trash.
 
oh and i just wanna say when i am pissed off, weezy is my go to guy. how can you be mad about a girl when the chorus is "fuck bitches fuck bitches get money fuck bitches"
 
i think he can be pretty tight but he has become so epic in my area, like preppy kids and dumb bitches are in love and have every song, remix, collaboration he has ever been in and its gotten way to played out
 
for the last time weezy's a fucking beast stop hating! he can flow sick on any beat and he records 3 songs a day every day which is unheard of in the music industry...he's put out a over 350 mixtapes this year and the all have sick tracks on them! and he's so versatile with his flows and he raps jamaican style sometimes and its sick and ya his lyrics are dirty and gross and dont make sense sometimes but that just makes them more baller!

Yeah, i agree that he sucks. Mad kids in my school think he is so great, has the sickest rhymes and that he is the greatest rapper alive. Personally ill just listen to some Nas and realize how he is the greatest rapper alive.
 
There is different types of mainstream...like the top 40 and then the biggie and tupac shit or similar stuff...I bet you like some mainstream but not the top 40

weezey is pretty dope u cant say he doesnt have any flow he has phat beats and sometimes his lyrics are crazy but not consistently so overall hes all right

his underground/freestyle shit is sick...his new songs have some dumbass lyrics in them though...for example: "when i was younger my favorite movie was the gremlins, aint got shit to do with this i just thought that i should mention"

immortal technique and all thoose other guys don't do it for me i can respect and recognize why they are good but i just can't really vibe with their music i can with lil wayne and that is why i listen to him..
 
umm they see a gold mine in how many people still like him even when he is garbage, so they are all signing up to get the most before the spotlight moves on to some other bad rapper
 
lil wayne is rediculous. other than biggie there is NOTHING better you can listen to while you burn(rap wise) and blastin some weezy in your car is always sick

trust me i know what is GOOD HIP HOP , i have been listening to basically nothing but hiphop for the last 4 years and there is no reason to hate on Lil wayne, he's the best thing to come out of main stream in a long time. Just because he is featured with shitty, clown artists like Jeezy and DJ Kalad does not say anything about Wayne himself.

His shit is hilarious, constantly extremely creative, beats crush shit, and he has his own unique sound. He has a lot of lyrical ability, he also has to fill tracks and mixtapes and make MONEY, which means turning out a couple songs that you guys use as reason to hate on "fuck bitches get money type stuff" , if you watch any of his freestyle videos or acapella tracks there is no way you can deny that he has a lot of lyrical talent. Even if i was on top of my game, drunk , on xanax whatever and trained for months there is no way I could ever spit for even 30 seconds against weez

For anyone who said he thinks that he is better than he is.... that is how you have to be in order to survive in the business he is in. If you don't constantly believe that you are the best, then you will never reach your potential . Weezy even admitted that he is not better than Nas, biggie, dilla are both dead. Jay-z is obviously respected more and has been around for a lot longer but once again i dont think u can compare them

you can't even compare him to "heady" mc's like Doom, helta skeltha, ghost, Lif, cannabis , Nas that is a different type of music

in the end its fucking MUSIC , if it doesn't sound good to your ears thats fine, don't listen. But you can't pass judgement on something you dont really know about

i get adrians point about how "heady" mcs arent to be compared. but id say wu tang is almost comparable to the same type of music.

and almost every member of wu fucking destroys weez.
