Does anyone else ski montage?

Elk has a two second park and every trail is the same I mean it it PA groomers are fun but for like two minutes

I heard Elk was gettign a better park for next year. And if you go to Elk alot,you learn about these small hidden features,like Air Force One Road.

 
Montage has some hidden extras. Like after a snow storm you can go on bart-charley which is alot of fun. Then you can ski in the woods for most of the year on white lightning if there is snow of course.

 
O and if there is a lot of early snoiw this year montages park will probally go on there fastrack slopes and be great like it was 3 years ago.

 
i ski at montage every day in the winter cause i live 2 mins aways to n elk is a lil betta but montages park i think might be a lil betta n sean thanks for the new phone

 
i gotta say no offense montage blows royaly so icey so crowded with shitty skiers and boarders and i don't like the way its set up, elk is pretty good for pa but its like 50 bucks a day and its pretty far away from where i lived (kingston)overall check out jack frost big boulder. theres tons of terrain between the two 3 to 4 parks that are pretty awsome for pa and its cheap as all get out especially because a pass goes to both

 
yea keasby if u do ski at elk a long time u learn bout these trails but if u tell everyone it ruins it cuse so many kids go on it that it ruins the trail and eventully ski patrol will close that shit down. and by the way elk kicks montages ass

 
You have to be the dumbest person ever. Montage doesnt have crowds. It is more crowded on a wednsday at camelback then it is on presidents weekend at montage. Also I dont no when you went there, but the skiers and boarders are good with what we got. We have kids throwing cork 7 on a 10 foot jump, and throwin regular9s and flips and shit and lincolns. It may get icey, but so does every mtn around here. But, Montage has the best riding available next to elk, We have whitlightning and boomer , and cannonball, which are all great trails.

In what aspect does elk kick montages ass. One our park is better then theres, its not good at either but montages is by far better. The lifts are just as good at both. Montage has whitlightning, boomer, and cannnonball, AND some sick tree skiing on the skiers right of white lightnin. I myself says, that elk is better, but it doesnt kick montages ass.

ive been to both and liked elk better but only because it wasnt windy...montage was like a wind tunnel when i was there

I f you new anything about your home mountain you would know this. Montage is facing the wrong direction. It gets the sun at the wrong time of day and therefore is technacly icer. there is kno way around this they just messed up when building trails and know its fd up for ever. the terrain park blows. a single terrain park at jack frost or big boulder is better then montages. when you through in that they both have 2 terrain parks that leaes no room for compatition. montage is considerd the closest mountain to both scranton and wilkes barre and eerybody from those two ares go there. You can't argue that its crowded its fricken rediculous. so why don't you stop trying to stick up for the lamest excuse for a ski mountain ive eer been to and admit that it blows for you that you live so close. and for your information i skied montage for 2 years so i kno my shit about it

 
i go to montage a couple times a year to ski with my dad. everytime i've been there it was not crowded at all. there was no more than a 4 minute wait in any lift line. im not not gonna argue that its icy as hell and windy because its true. the mountain is facing the wrong direction. they had potential for a decent park last i was there if it werent so damn small. it was sad.
 
Actually, i know its in the wrond direction. It is icy everywhere though. I wasnt even talking about jf or bbs park. i was tlaking about elks you dumb fuckin newb, learn to read. And Montage is not crowded, Go to Paskiandride.com and ask any person on there if montage is crowded, you would be in for a rude awakeing. And no you dont no your shit, because if you did you would no there has never been a fucking crowd there.

I kno you weren't talking about JF and BB but gues what I WAS! and montages terrain park is the worst thing i have ever skied, and yes ive skied elks terrain park to and its a shit ton better. The icey thing alone should make you realize that montage sucks like no other. cuz other places do have snow. and plez don't call me noob cuz by you arguing with me on this its making you look more like the fucked face noob then me.
 
How the hell could you say there are crowds at montage? go to camelback or blue on a weekend and then tell me. On weekends there its about as crowded as a weeknight at camelback or blue.
 
Hot off the press, Montage got new rails and boxes. They spent a lot of money on park this year, i was told this by their booth at the national ski expo at the wyoming valley mall. They are also putting it on a longer and wider trail. The guy who was running the booth said the jumps will be better this year, as well. He said prolly 25 or 30 footers, which are a big change from last years 10 foot jumps.
 
it seems to me alot of mtns that have had shitty parks/no parks are updating.

so far this is all talk, but we'll have to wait and see.

CB, montage, blue, bear, shawnee, jfbb... theyve all said they will update parks.
