Who knows. maybe with all this over-saturated sensationalizing, it may actually end some negative connotations against gays. Ya, we don't care, because on this site, are mostly straight, white, more than privileged males, living in western civilization. We're not required to care about anything that actually matters, like the fact that it is still obviously not cool to be gay in society. Otherwise these events would have less hype, and the media would allow them to go on without such sensationalization. Perhaps all we need is some gayness shoved in our face, or wherever, I'm not judging. If so, perhaps we as a people, will stop putting down alternative lifestyle choices, and putting it down freedom of expression, so shit won't blow up and all we see Is B Jenn and G Kenn on Conan.
We are in a great transitioning period, nya nya. But seriously, you wouldn't hear your parents talk about seeing someone, 'famously' coming out on Johnny Carson. Even the film MILK, came out just like 5 years too soon. MILK would have blown up if it would have came out in theaters at this time.
Be okay with people being gay. If your not cool with Gays, or if you think you have such a place, to put down whoever you want, take a fucking dick already. Metaphorically, or literally, I don't care. And I know you don't care, about any of this, that is until something like these events come along. Face it, in your white, privileged bubble you don't have to care about anything, except how to get your hands on Armada's ZERO line, or when weed might become legal in your state.
