Hey guys, I'll be out a couple times throughout the season. I have a couple buds who reside in Banff and everytime I've been out in the past, I've seen next to no skiers around, just boarders. Are there any of you out there?

ya but it's better than Red Deer, fuck it I like Kimberly I don't care what anyone says, they have some pretty fun runs

Yeah, Louise in the middle of the season, and Sunshine later. Most of the skiers from calgary are at Sunshine on the last day.

The last day at louise the only thing open was the gondola. that was pretty retarded.

they had a park comp, they could have atleast opened the chair for faster access for the competitors

ya that was so gay, it took so long for us to get to the park, but it was a fun day, me and stu took 1st place!

That was such an epic day. I had such a good time. My friends Chew and Murray took second in snowboarding next to TJ Schnieder. They should have even taken first. That was the second last day though, wasn't it? Yeah. Beautiful weather and some fresh snow toooo

ya i dont think schnider and the other dude deserved 1st in snowboard, but it was such a fun day, that second table was porbably the best thing i had hit all season, i just wish there was a bit more speed and the quad was open so i could have hit it all day and tried some crazy new stuff

is it ever better than red deer. Infact have you ever skied red deer? If not I'm gonna have to say you don't even understand how much better it is than red deer.

I'm just saying it's terrible cause there's way better hills he could move to seeing as he's planning on moving anyways

I missed actually seeing the comp because I was stuck on the backside. I borrowed a pass from a friend and he showed up at the hill so I couldn't use the gondola. What an epic day though, there was almost a foot of freshies all morning and even into the afternoon if you were in the shade. Not bad for the last day of April... After shredding, we had a big BBQ and hit up a big party at some rich peep's house on the Bow in banff.

Tailgating after the comp:

I live in kimberley, Its a solid place with tonnes of skiers. I think the park has really been stepped up in the past 2 years, and Im hoping for a better one this year. Dont be hatin!

I remember that day there was sick pow, I had no desire to watch the comp. Spring at the lake last year was epic, and that big jump wasn't bad, they had it open to the public a couple days after.

Hahaha, he won that hoodie in the comp. Second place was a 26er and a hoodie. Pretty lame they wouldn't even spring for a 40. It disappeared pretty damn quick.
