does anyone on NS listen to metal. all i see on here is rap and stupid gangsta shit. i wanna here about the heavy fuckin metal scene.
 
Metal is where its at. My friend got to meet Alexi Laiho last weekend and got a signed picture caus eher neighbor works for ESP. We were like AND YOU DIDNT GET US ONE!? Shes like I didnt know you wanted one...

 
I'm not a huge metal fan, but i do like some of it. In general I think that 80% of what's out there for metal is complete shit. I also dont really care for screaming, but i totally dig the complexity and technicality of the guitar work. I like current bands like Trivium, COB, and haha dragon force if you can call them metal. But the legends like Zakk Wylde, Metallica, Pantera, Megadeth etc I like too. Also heard some stuff by Hammer Fall awhile back and remembered that I liked it, but didn't hear much.
 
I'm a head banger. Recently i've stopped listening to current metal and i'm just listening to my old pantera cd's. Although when the new machine head, the blackening, thats all i'll be listening to
 
not really, classic,grunge and alt rock is more interesting. metal is ok when i need to get pumped up to go ski or when i drive crazy fast on a highway other then that i dont have much need for it

i dont listen to much metal but i like some grind metal and thrash metal. i mostly listen to other stuff like crust punk and ska though.

ehh, im not a fan of screamo shit, but when i can a least make out some of the words im all for it. of course i like the classics, they're classic for a reason.
 
listening to satanic music doesnt make you a satanist. if it did, thats like saying because you watch football doesnt make you a football player...you CAN be a football player and watch football, but you also might not be a real football player and watch it anyway. watching it doesnt make you a player. same with satanic music. you can listen to it and not be a satanist, but of course there are satanists out there who listen to it

lol took you a while to find that...yea i was being sarcastic. and TORMENTOR is a slayer song which gets me fuckin stoked and makes my neck hurt when im done listening to it
 
metal is not ski music so no!

when people ask me what kind of music i listen to i answer them "anything i can ski to".
 
Powder skiing to bloodshed by amon amarth, is freaking epic. I ski to metal all the time. Have you not seen Fabian Mauehoahsdoghalksdyo1iy231easdalfyald r's segments in the up movies. Metal and skiing is a wicked combo.
