Does anybody else think Women's hockey should not be in the Olympics?

Please read this before you bash me and -Karma me.

Yes I am Canadian and I fucken love hockey and watching Canada dominate on the world stage(when they do.. haha). However, I personally don't think Women's hockey should be in the Olympics. Why? because there is simply no competition outside of Canada and the USA. Just look at the Canada Slovakia game last night... 18-0 and 67-9 in shots. Wait till today when USA plays China, I wouldn't be surprised if the US tops that. We can throw Sweden into the mix of being a good team, but lets be real, they are no where near as good at Canada and the USA. I am not against women's sports or anything, but don't you think it would be a better idea to scrap it from the Olympics and find a better way to develop the game worldwide so there is actually a level playing field?

I can go on, but what do you guys think?
 
i was going to karma rape just like you said but then i actually read it and ya, that makes alot of sense actually.

even the best women's teams suck, they play against midget (15-17) AAA teams for practice, and don't always win. The other teams actually are a joke.
 
this is how the teams grow though, sure the slovaks got worked out hard, but there still coming home heroes to slovakia and the idea is that they inspire others to pick up a puck and a stick and the sport grows and other countries get invovled. how long have all these east euro countries been playing hockey? not that long, you gotta give em a chance to get better and compete more you cant just scrap it alll together because a couple of countries at the time are dominating.

I think it should stay, but I'm surprise the IOC hasn't removed it. It seems like if there are only a couple countries dominating a sport that they do remove it, like softball and baseball (and it sounds like there is more competition there than woman's hockey).
 
I'm pretty sure you mean major junior.

but I for sure agree with you that other countries are getting better and the tournaments are getting more competitive.

for example, today the swiss only lost 3-0 to the swedes.

that being said, if something doesn't change drastically, I can't see women's hockey lasting much longer.
 
One thing I want to point out is, and I don't know if anybody as talked about it because I really wanted to say it before I would forget, the reason why Canada's team didn't stop scoring goals against Slovakia when they were a 7-0 is that slovakia, to qualify they anniliated the other team to a shameless 82-0 against another team.. I don't know if you guys got my point because I had trouble putting it into words.

Like someone said, I was gonna karma rape you when you said that, but that is a pretty good point. Altough I wouldn't take it out of the olympics.
 
The only reason I feel it shouldn't be in the olympics is because the level of competition just isn't there, Canada and the US are just far ahead of any other nation and it doesn't make it fun for spectators to see teams get destroyed 18 nothing.
 
i'd say most of those women hockey players are dykes and lesbos.

Along with not shaving I would hope never to see them naked
 
Maybe olympic players. But one of my ex-gf was is a hockey player and she is HAWT as f*. She's like Midget AA.
 
Me and my dad were just talking about this like 5 min ago. We completely agree that it's stupid to have womens hockey in the Olympics. There's no competion except for USA vs. Canada.
 
it would be easier for them to skate, and they would be more aerodynamic. i dont see why this change hasnt been made yet
