I have center monted skis and the CSIA guy said that they were the reason for my "non text book" stance, so since i was looking for new skis any ways, does any one konw what a good ski would be good if, i wanna go fast , land backwards going really fast, i wanna float fast in the powder, and over clifs, i wanna butter with a perfictly consistent tip to tale design onto a rail that ill be balenced on becasue of the centered weight. also it should be able to carve on ice like a race ski. is thier any one ski THat will let me do all thoses things and much more??????????????????

im around 5.4ft and 130lb

A stance has a lot more to it than simply the mounting point on your skis. As does rail balance.

Typically, if you are looking to be jumping and jibbing rails with a ski, true center or -1 or -2 cm from true center are good places to mount. However, if you are looking to ski powder, a mounting point further back would be a good idea to help your tips float.

If you are looking for one ski, you will have to compromise because fat skis are generally not quick in the park and jib skis make powder a lot less fun. I would suggest looking in the 90mm waist range, at things like the Line Chronic or Volkl bridge. You could also go fatter and include the Line Anthem, K2 Seth, or Salomon Gun in your search. I would suggest going no longer than 175cm, with the ideal being around 170cm.

Best of luck.
