Dodge SRT Drift edit

I was asked to shoot some video for a local college event.

shot in under 2 hours with 2 people.

Equip used.

Panasonic HMC-150

Canon 60D

3x GoPro HD Hero

R/c heli with gopro for Aerial video.

Thoughts? Tips? Tweaks?

One thing that bothered me the whole time was the music. I didn't think it fit the vibe or the edit very well.

one thing I noticed is that some of the pans in the beginning seemed really like jerky. you did a good job keeping the car framed, but the pans didnt always seem smooth. just one little tip I had

Music sucked. You actually got a good amount of footage in two hours, and I think if you'd taken a different approach to editing this, it would've come out better and more watchable (in my opinion).

Don't take offense to that. I just would have created a different progression for the video.

Thanks blondie.. I totally agree with you on the music.. the cuts dont sync up and it picks up real fast and stays fast the whole time.. I will follow up with another edit when I have more time to be critical. As for now thanks for the comments they help me realize how important little pieces can be to a minute long clip

and my mom works for chrysler so i know all about those cars, and my buddys dad (Also chrysler) has the srt charger
