you mold it to your teeth in hot water. its the same as those fooseball players wear. the low cost ones can be pretty bomber and the one I got says they will cover for up to $10k of dental work if it doesn't work. I'm not talking about some Halloween costume version.
I say good to go. but you can pay your dentist's 400% markup if you want.
Got me worried now. This will be my first season with a mouthguard and I got mine from some sports place and it has the $10 grand insurance deal. But do they not work if you fall?
I always have one in my pant pockets. I usually just pop it in when I'm trying stuff or doing something big... It also gives you a false sense of encouragement which can be good and make you think ur gonna stomp something that you will, or you just wreck
busted out my two front's riding bmx so now I do wear one sometimes. but whatever. I just keep it in my jacket and use it for sketchy drops or new tricks
I got one from my orthodontist. Definitely worth the extra $ to get it done there than to get one from walmart--it fits my mouth so much better. I also wear one of these:
i dont even realize im wearing it most of the time.
I chiped a tooth last season when the light was really flat. Since then I've been wondering about the mouthguard situation. Defineately going to bring my hockey one with me this season.
