Do you want Jonesys back?

"Eagle" of whatever park it is, has it's own lift now and no more people are going to be bitching about park rats colliding into rich tourists.
It should stay where it is.

I'm assuming you only know the Joneseys of last year (which was still damn fun)
Joneseys two and three years ago were perhaps the most fun parks I have ever ridden (back when it used to have big jumps). The rail parks after two legitimate big jumps was insane in terms of fun. The step over that was in That's it That's All. Yeah take a guess where that was...Joneseys. The problem is we have had no snow this year and anything that gets built in Kings is only going to be there for a couple more weeks. I really appreciate the hard work that Jeremy has put in and I realize it's a bad situation for snow, but PC just hasn't been nearly as fun without Joneseys. I don't know anywhere at PC where you can hit 20+ features in a row and finish a tall boy on the way down. It's really sad PC is deteriorating in terms of fun. In fact, I think any resort now is. Brighton getting sued, Snowbird having their owner be a total jackass, Alta wanting to expand into flagstaff. Can we get a ski resort that wants to cater to skiing more importantly than fine dining and lodging? Here here!

that makes sense, it used to be way more epic. last spring they had rails/boxes going pretty much to the lift.

i agree alot of resorts are being stupid, but its how they make their money sadly and brighton is actually starting to become somewhat legit building jumps as we speak and their jib setup is fun right now but i think they should have kept jones

I can't see it happening this year even if by some miracle management gave the okay cause there is no snow. I would love to see them planning jonesys for next season.

thats still the case at eaglet. All the gapers stroll through there like they own the place. they get in the way and it gets way to fucking overcrowded. Jonesys was A million times better.

Until people start hating money, ski areas aren't going to cater to us. We buy cheap ass student passes, don't eat their food or drink their drinks, and just get in the way of all the tourists who drop thousands of dollars on vacations there. Sure the kids who ski PC and put out edits and hype it help promote the park scene, but in reality I think it's the Dad with 4 kids who tells his coworkers how good the groomers at PC are... that's the kinda people that make ski areas money.

The most popular PC related site probably isn't PCRide. It's probably Snowmamas.com (check it out). It's a version of the PC site directed towards Moms and families... where the money's at.

Jonesys was tight but so is Pick and Kings. At least they created Eaglet to keep the gromlins out of the other parks. They coulda just scrapped Jonesys and not added anything else.

I don't care if its on that trail, as long as upper mountain has a descent size park that is atleast as long as jonesey's (so the snow lasts longer)

Gotta say the park crew did an epic job of raking/salting today so if they can keep it up in the warmer weather kings should work out just fine. They should have some jacked raking arms by the end of the season.

Jonsey's was big when I went to school at the U and really fun for a big park but from what I have seen of king's this year it looks pretty legit. Just be stoke none of you live in Idaho.

Powder Mountain, Beaver Mountain, and Brianhead (among other far flung ski resorts).

I feel you on Jonesys though, it was nice and big back in the day, '07 perhaps. It was easy to get fucked up in that park, I over shot the first jump on a monthly basis and knuckled the booter once. I saw many do the same.

Agreed. PCMR seems to be heavily moving away from the old jonseys in favor of pic n shovel. Pic defintely has become more and more legit each season and less of a joke of old.

yeah i was just watching some old 4bi9 edits, 5 years ago pic was the fucking mini park and now its pushing the "big" park
