Do you use the same ski on the same foot each time or do you switch it up?

Is there an advantage or disadvantage to switching up the ski you wear on each foot? Is it better to switch it up every session so that they wear down the same way?

I actually wear my one ski with the big dent on my right foot everytime. It's how I tell, i'm not sure if its good or bad though.

my brother told me (for our school ski team, not in general) that i should ski the same every time we went, except for actaul races. then you switch them up so your riding on fresher edges (since they don't wear down as fast and i wasnt going to sharpen every time i went out).

as for park, ehhh, who cares. i mean a lot of skis have graphics on them that are meant to go a certain way so if you switch it up, thats gonna look weird. and your edges should be fairly dull for park anyway

the only thing i have found is that my skis chip on the inside edges of my skis, so if i switched it up it would chip more evenly.

i usually switch them up every time i ride so one ski's edge doesnt wear down faster than the other when i hit rails/boxes

For my 4frnts i use them on the same feet everytime cuz they make a picture.I did the same for my invaders until recently i started switching it up... shouldn't really matter...

on my skis with asymmetrical graphics where they carry over i always put them on the designated feet just so the graphics don't look like incomprehensible bullshit. for my race skis i always keep them on the same feet except for races because you put less pressure on your uphill edge so you keep that unused for racesotherwise just move them around so you don't wear the edges on one side

mine have graphics so same, but if i had edge damage i'd try to keep it on the outside of my foot obviously,

peace

Mine are just random, and since i have disorderly's i never remember which one was on which foot even though i have one mounted forward and one backwards. The graphics still look pretty much the same.

I just click in depending on how I drop em on the ground. But I'll occasionally make sure I switch it up.

i wear the same ski on each foot every time... it has to do with the sharpness of your edges usually the insides are duller than the outsides. you can kinda tell if you hit a box with your skis on the opposite feet

i have the line spiralsand my friend claims that the red spiral is supposed to go on the right skiso thats what i do i guess

Wel it seems everyone has their own way of doing it but I'm really wondering whether it affects how long a park ski will last??? I'm personally OCD about it as well and I always have to have the same ski on the same foot but with all the rails being hit it just seems that I'm wearing the edges down unevenly and reducing the life of my skis.....
