Do you think the simpsons movie will give closure to the series?

as many of you probably know the simpsons movie is coming out in a little less than a year. after a6 seasons and hundreds of episodes the simpsons is starting to get really stale.

do you think the movie will be the Simpsons Finale?

I think/hope it will be and I hope its great.

movie description: "When Homer accidentally pollutes the river with toxic waste from the nuclear power plant, he gets fired from his job, and everyone has to evacuate Springfield, possibly forever."

seems like something that could make all the characters go their seperate ways.

what are your thoughts on what is one of the longest running sitcoms ever
 
well that could happen in the movie and hten they just keep on making new shoes, you know how it is. People still watch new ones, it's probably not getting stale you're just getting tired of watching simpsons for 10 years.
 
new ones continue to pale in comparison to the genius that was seasons 2-8 or so.

I mean, when they had Conan O'Brien writing for them it was absolutely fucking hilarious. Then all the writers left and the series has slowly sucked more and more.
 
Yeah I was allways a big fan of the Simpsons, but last 2 or 3 years I just don't get as exicted as I used to for Sunday nights.

I'm going to have to blame my lake of excitness for Sunday nights, on the facted that I used to watch 1hr of Simpsons every day for years.

I hope the movie will be good closer for the Simpsons, cause I will always be one at hart.
 
Yah Family Guy should get banned again so when it comes back it is actually good.

I just don't watch the Simpsons anymore, they are just way too boring. South Park is so much funnier.
