the ski hill has jacked up their prices to an astronomical amount. i dont want to pay like 600 bucks for a season pass. should i just not buy one??... coughcough

how many times do you ride at this place a year? if you ride there enough and you have a seasons pass it is easy for you to get your moneys worth out of it. plus its better to have a pass then to get kicked out for not having one.

You can always just color copy someone elses + barcode.

But there's a chance you will get snapped and pwned

well its fucking lame that the hills where I live (PA area) still charge full night price on weekday nights where me and my friends are literally the ONLY people on the mountain. I don't pay for a ticket then, because thats total bullshit. if places were smart they'd charge 10 bucks a ticket on weekday nights, cause no one shows up anyways, it would give some incentive. I don't like stealing a day of skiing, but as long as they want to still charge 35 bucks and not have any employees out checking tickets cause its cold/dark/rainy/empty then fuck em.

i ski PA too.

and a season pass for Whitetail/liberty/roundtop was 299.

that is not very much at all.

I don't pay for lift tickets anymore. I just go and the lifties don't notice. But that's because:

1. our hill is military funded

2. no season pass unless your military

3. 30 dollars a day really builds up and its NOT worth it. (hill is 800ft vertical)

4. our management can be pretty sleezy sometimes

you want a ski resort to charge you 10 dollars a ticket... are you fucken joking dude? you are an idiot. do you understand how much it is to run a hill in the first place? do you know how much it is to blow snow etc. that shit costs a lot of money. they spend their money and time to help you have a good time. id atleast support your local hill and buy a ticket. dont be a dick. its people like you that make our sport look like ass holes and idiots.

i think what hes trying to say is that its pretty much vacant at night, so if the hill lowers their night prices it will give people incentive to come at night. with there being m,ore people at night there would be more money spent elsewhere on the hill ie rentals, food and other stuff

Its easier do pull it off in the east Coast where you don't need a pass to be scanned just looked at by some liftee. I did it for all of the opening day rides I went to. Its just bullshit first day, three runs and the place charges $6 less than what they charge throughout the season. No chance in hell im paying for that.

if you ride at the place a lot though it may be hard to pull off. liftees remember snowboarders and park skiers for a reason....cause we do in fact cause a lot of shit.......so if you get caught doing something stupid then your kinda screwed. How my friend used to do it is just make good friends with one of the liftee girls. most places either have a certain number of 'promo' lift tickets of 'freebies' so the cute liftie girl will just hand one out if your nice enough.

Hahaha i pulled it off last year, i bought 1 lift ticket all year the rest of the time i would either use friends pass, or just hike alot, or i even found a couple season passes that i used for a while too. Its pretty easy i almost got caught like twice tho cus my pass picture had some scene ass kid in it, so i was like dude, i even straightened my hair for that pic bro and he just let me go lol even after i guessed the birthday wrongi went skiing like more than 3 days a week too.... lolbut personaly its not worth it to me so i just got my passes this year

I went to Whistler last march break and it was only 13 bucks for a night pass..im not saying he should poach but its not a big thing if the hill is military funded

no, youre the fucking idiot. you can't even understand a retardedly simple concept.

if they are open weeknights but still charge 35 bucks and NO ONE comes, they are still open. they are still losing money. might as well get some bodies on the hill rather than NO ONE.

understand that, you fucking dipshit?

oh and ski resorts don't spend their money and time to help me have a good time, fucktard. they do it for money. its a business. granted, money isn't their complete motivation, I understand that. I know there are people that work damned hard there and legitimately want a nice park and such.

oh and whoever said a season pass is ONLY 300 bucks...300 dollars is a fair amount of money to most young people, last time I checked.

way to get angry

300 dollars is a lot of money and boy i would be stoked, but you know what, at least you don't live in whistler where your season pass is easily $1700, day tickets $89. and it sucks right now. and we dont have night skiing, and yeah.

easier said than done coming from an alaskan^

expensive lift tickets are shitty but if its just you and your friends there you might as well fuck around as hard as you want, because its not like they will kick you out if your the only one there.
