No. Everybody would think he is a douchebag, and he would become less popular.

Think about it: When you meet somebody in real life who tries to be all gangster but isn't, what do you think of him?

I was just thinking about Gus when I opened this thread. I think guys like him are just so locked that they don't care about tall tees, shotguns, afterang, and pitbulls and other things that gangsters like myself worry over.
 
You're onto something. 'Gangstah' skiers tend to be devoted to their steeze, not their contest results. That's why their popular. No one would care about Mik D if he skied like a gaper. No one cares about Rory Silva (even though he has tattoos and smokes cigs in his underwear).

Look at Parker White. He's doesn't wear tall-t's or rot his brains listening to Biggie remixes on repeat. He's hot right now because he's devoted to his style.

 
This.. If bobby hopped on the gangsta train he would fall into the category of "following the crowd" therefor losing respect in my book
 
parker definatly wears tall ts. He just doesnt take it over the top and have them past his knees.Bobby, Gus and Henshaw are sick the way they are
 
I like how NS people tend to refer to people in large clothes as gangsters. Its funny. Funny but yet so sad...
 
It has gotten way past funny and now just makes me cry every time I hear the words gangstah and skier in the same sentence. Even though the number of Xs in their clothes may be the same the look is completely different.

i know exactly what you're talking about. i feel the same way. I mean, the kid slays and all but to me he's not someone i tend to think about when i go to watch an edit.
