Do you think 9/11 is a conspiracy?

This is 100% right. If it was not a plane the sheer amount of people needed to cover it up would be ridiculous. You need to some how dispose of all the passengers on bored all the flight crew and the plane. None of them can be let go cuz they could spill the beans. Then theres the Armed forces crew that armed and fired the missile. The theorists think that it was a cruise missile that is usually fired from a sea based ship. So now we need a way of making the crew on entire warship keep quiet because i think they might notice when a cruise missile takes of from their ship close to home for no apparent reason. Then theirs the maintenance crews in port who need to restock that missile who are bound to notice that USS Shoot Ourselves is one missile short because America is currently not shooting these things like candy. Not to mention airport traffic controllers who would notice this mystery plane flying across the US. The theorist say maybe it did'nt fly across the US to ditch in the ocean maybe it landed at a nearby airforce base. Well then all the crew at that AFB would have be in on it plus all the people who need to kill the survivors on the plane now. IF any one of these people spill the beans the whole thing falls apart. Conclusion it was a plane.

Physics Professor, Stephen E. Jones of Brigham Young University publishes

a paper in which he proves the World Trade Center buildings could have

only been brought down in the manner they were by explosives. He receives

no coverage in the mainstream media for his scientific and provable claims.

just one argument:

MONEY

A LOT OF PEOPLE MADE HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS, MILLIONS AND EVEN BILLIONS BASED ON 9/11.

i really find both sides to be dumb as fuck sometimes (although i admit to be on the "there was some inofficial shit going on"-side), but ask yourself one question:

would you bet your life on it that people dont do stuff like this for a few BILLIONS?

wow. so impressed.

really hate how any intelligent argument gets shot down. people act like they can actually calculate with a 100% certainty how everything went down and because this happened than this happened and you better believe this because its so disrespectful to the victims to ask questions.

http://ae911truth.org/en.html

1700 architects and engineers.

how can you take "your" sources over them? just rationally, how can you explain that.

its not like in the evolution cause, where you find 1% of biologists believing in creationism. but i would expect that a legit percentage of experts THAT actually have dealt with this topic, think there are flaws in the official version.

but i admit that i flew one of the lesser known planes and i hate america, i hate puppies and tim tebow and kinda pee on soldier cemeteries A LOT.

It's not? Hmm, well, let's do some math.

The Bureau of Labor Statistics says that in 2010, there were 113,700 architect jobs in the US, 79,000 civil engineering technicians, and 262,800 civil engineers.

That's a total of 455,500 workers in what are probably the most directly relevant fields, which means this list of 1700 represents 0.37% of those workers.

Now you mentioned that this was nothing like evolution vs creationism. I disagree, because the Discovery Institute (a creationist group) has a list signed by ~760 scientists claiming to be "skeptical" of evolution. 760 is not as much as 1700, but in the scheme of all the people in the relevant fields, they're both pretty small numbers that are more or less irrelevant.

Of course more importantly, they don't have evidence to support their position, so how many of them that there are doesn't really mater anyway.

it would be interesting to see what percentage of americans believe it was a conspiracy compared to non-americans. because i think americans are much more inclined to deny this conspiracy theory in general, compared to people elsewhere. just a speculation though.

I would assume the opposite, since Americans seem to be slightly dumber in general than many other industrial countries. After all, 46% of Americans believe the earth is less than 10,00 years old and that dinosaurs and humans lived together.

This statement is even more ignorant than how you perceive conspiracy theorists. Do you honestly believe that we as a nation should just NEVER question tragic events? I'm not in favor of 9/11 conspiracies, but it is truly a shame that there are people that think like this. Even if, say 20 years down the road, it is disclosed that there was more to the attacks of 9/11 than the people knew, if anything that makes it an even more tragic that our own government would sacrifice 3,000 citizens and many times more soldier.

Please, don't close your mind.

kind of different since you cannot assume that every single one of them has dealt with the topic.

but youre kind of correct, i give you that.

i just know that alot of people who know some stuff think there happened something at WTC7 which is not in line with the official report

"A lot of people who know some stuff" is exactly who wrote the report though, and they explain in great detail how WTC 7 fell due to damage from debris from WTC 1 and the ensuing fire. Like I said on the other page, the firefighters who were at the scene that day knew it was going to collapse which is why they "pulled" (a lot of people make a big deal about Larry Silverstein using this word) their people out. That's also why several news agencies reported that it had fallen before it actually did; everyone knew this was going to happen. If it were such an unpredictable result, this would have taken the firefighters by surprise and many of them probably would have still been in the building fighting the fire when it fell.

Dude, it was Islamic extremests. Just accept it. Why would our own government do that to the Twin Towers and the Pentagon? Just so they have to pay and fix it?

Well obviously to take us into Iraq! Because everyone knows it would be impossible to get the US people to support a war without such a drastic attack on US civilians first, right? I mean it's not like they could have just gone to the UN and told the world that Saddam Hussein had WMDs that he didn't.

hoping that you're about 12 years old because there's no way you could not notice what is happening in the middle east and africa. have you heard of the lisbon zone and the liberty rig?

the fed can just print $ out of thin air to pay for that damage with QE just so you know...

Unfortunately it's not surprising. You don't even have to draw any conclusions. By saying that you think there's even a .0001% chance that at least .00001% of the official story wasn't entirely true, and instantly "you're an idiot, people died, go kill yourself, stop being disrespectful"

Not surprised though. That was the mentality being pushed right from the start.

Oh well, that's life.

False flag terrorism. Not saying anything happened but you're asking "why would they" so I'm saying a hypothetical situation.

Look how easily the patriot act got passed after 9/11. Legislation like that pretty much murdered the constitution and it went through without any real problems.

Hell it even has a nice name. The patriot act, how could you be against that? If you don't support the patriot act you're probably a terrorist.

Read about events like the reichstag fire. Again not saying anything happened, but historically speaking it isn't something that "never would have ever been tried in a billion years" as some people see it.

If you think that governments are inherently good, and would never doing anything fucked up, read a history book.

Do you realize how much money was up for grabs during the war? Just saying. It wasn't like nobody made any money from the situation regardless of it being coincidence or something more.

Somewhere between 0.0001% and 0.000001% chance is probably an accurate representation of how likely the inside job story is though.

I think everyone can agree that there was a bit of weird shit going on in the 9/11 incident but no one will never find any solid proof of any conspiracy if there ever was one.

^really like the money argument. that thing brought hundreds of billions of dollars to certain people/companies.

and operation northwood, the fake torpedo attack before the vietnam war are two other good arguments that the US government wont hesitate to fake shit in order to start a war.

Who are you guys to say it isn't a conspiracy? It's ridiculous to classify all of us "independent thinkers" as idiots. History has proven that the best way to unify a country is to go to war. That's plain and simple. Enough of these scientific explanations on the trade centers. You may be talented in physics and restating paragraphs from popular mechanics Bill Nye, but you're accomplishing nothing by doing it. The towers fell. Who ever wanted them to fall made them fall successfully. That isn't the big issue here guys.To me it comes off as extremely naive to rule out all thoughts and signs of this being something more than an attack by "terrorists" on US soil. You need to open your minds NSers, even if that means being cynical.

If you think 9/11 was a conspiracy I will personally send a fleet of F-16s to destroy your house while 50 bald eagles rip your testicles off with the national anthem blaring in the background

Oh great, this guy is asking questions we better blow them up and rip their balls off. Juicy J you are what is wrong with America, way to be an independent thinker.

-Potatoe

Oh okay then. Obviously that means it def happened.

Just saying you know how easy it would be to make a video like that?

Fuck it. I could make a video claiming that I'm jesus and I was responsible. That doesn't make it real.

Yea 'Murica. You probably have one of those classy "terrorist hunting permit" stickers on your car.

Way to use your mind and not lash out for know reason at anyone who asks questions.

How is that different then the people who freaked the fuck out on anyone who said the earth was round?

Lol at the way asking questions and not blindly trusting your government has become "unpatriotic".

'Murica

Also I hope that post was a joke, but just in case.

I've been busy, but i probably should learn.

Is there a book or something you can point me to so i can figure out how to newschool that would be great!

I'll send .0001 bitcoins to someone who can teach me to newschool im srsly too just post an addy and a how to newschool

I got like 15 cents worth from spare cpu cycles over the past few weeks

I don't classify independent thinkers as idiots, I classify idiots as idiots. The 9/11 truthers are some of the most egregious group thinkers on the planet. One of them makes an absurd claim and then all of a sudden every other one of them is making the same claim without ever having slowed down to consider if it makes any sense (like the who "the towers fell at free fall speed" thing. Anyone with a watch and youtube can see this is false).

ourse it is, because you like to pretend that you're being ridiculed for thinking that there was a 1 in a million chance that 9/11 was an inside job, but you're not. You're being ridiculed for thinking it was more probably an inside job that not, which is ridiculous (hence the ridicule).

Clearly it wasn't. My point was that people are ready to say "you're unpatriotic, I'm going to kill you, go fuck yourself, 'murica" and whatever else as soon as somebody even mentions that there could possibly a small problem with that official story.

Not probably an inside job. A good chance of the official story having a ton of holes and myself having questions.

But keep lumping everyone together.
