Do you take people more seriously when they have more posts??

A combination of factors.

Generally, yes

Higher posts generally means old-school members, which generally means older, which generally means more mature which means they can string a sentence together and i'll probably take their posts more seriously.

Of course there is the serous exception of those who have whored their way to a high post count, and I know who they are so don't bother reading anything they post in the first place.

depends on whats the subject, and who it is. i dont think donator status changes anything especially since you can by it off ns store.

because all ur threads are fucking pointless!

who gives a shit about karma or posts, what do u think ur gonna be better then someone because u've made more threads or more people think u've don't better things?

HA! Well put man, gotta agree with you there... There are a few people who deserve their internet time though.

i look at post count vs. karma, if the 2 are very close, then i know that post whoring and shitty topics have brought up, but even if the post count is low and the karma is significantly higher, then i can trust that what they are saying has more weight then a post whore, but also, everyone has a bad day. soo.

A few years ago, yes. People who had high post counts 2-4 years ago used to command a proper audience and rightfully so (in general). Then all the post whoring began and people would look at member numbers. Today, post count and karma don't really mean shit; you have to know who to look for.

well im gonna listen to someone who post helpful stuff instead of a noob who just says something like GET HELLBENTS/GANGSTER SUIT/ect.

he has a high post count but i dont take him serisouly because i can see that he makes tool posts

but i know who to take seriously and who not too

also though people with lower posts dont really know how ns works because they are new

honestly matthew, i havent been on newschoolers as much recently, but from what i've heard on some threads and what i've seen for myself, you have made a thread almost every day for the past month. most were stupid. i'll admit this is one of the better ones, but still

and for me personally, i look at a combination of karma and post count. and if someones name is green, red or orange i will pay more attention to what they say. still, people without high counts can often have good things to say

hahahaha yeah

i left the computer on at my friends house who doesnt ski and he just decided to fuck with all the forums and stuff

everyone has an opinion, read the entire thread, look for information that is helpful to you, and just because someone posting who has pull on an internet site posts doesn't mean they know everything. but its a good indicator what they are posting isn't garbage.

which brings me to say...

store donators, should get different colored dots, not the donator symbols, cuz someone can look "mad legit" by spending $5

no offense, but you are one of those examples of a 16 year old rich kid

from the woods, that

made a shitty poster (if i remember correctly) or some shit then bought a symbol, who makes

useless threads and somehow has 10000 karma. and you have never said

anything intelligent, controversial, or helpful. sorry i am being an asshole, but thats the way i am.

basically, post count, karma, and donation status doesn't matter. i only take people more (or less) seriously if i recognize someone who has made good (or bad) posts in the past.

I usually take someone serious when they take the time to use at least some amount of proper grammar.

this threads a joke you NOOB wait until you have a decent amount of posts before you go making your own threads

GAWSH

25 threads in under 3 weeks is enough NOT to take someone seriously..particularly given the thread titles.

Oh yeahhhhh, i forgot - your friend hijacked your account...
