Alright before I start... all the 13 year olds can keep their "snowboarding is gay" shit out of this thread.

If you snowboard... how long have you been doing it, do you like it better/worse/same as skiing AND...

What kind of board/bindings do you have?

Personally, I have this pimped out Burton Dominant with some Leblanc Leather Bindings...

I BOARDED A FEW TIMES! IT WAS RAW! I DID A METHOD. ITS FUN. IF I COULD GO BACK IN TIME I MIGHT CHOOSE SNOWBOARDING.

 
i snowboarded once before....i learned it in about 4 runs and then boardslided every box in the park, right about then i was like, "alright this is beat, skiings cooler"

i snowboard. ive been doing it for awhile maybe like 3 or 4 season but i only went out like 5 times a season till this year so i suck. i love just riding around flying off jumps and throwing a few grabs and jibs it just feels so fun. as for my set up ive got a rossignol sultan board and head powerbase bindings

i snowboard, i used to ski when i was younger but i just find snowboarding to be more fun. i still have mad respect for skiers though. i have the burton seven with burton custom bindings.

the reason skiers hate snowboarders so much is becuase the majority of them are punks. they think that snowboarding is rebelious and they do it because they wanna be "badass". freeride and snowboarding are on the same level as far as tricks/ style and stuff goes its just that freeride is a small nitch of skiing. most 12 year old who wanna be tough guys just recognize that snowboarding is hard core and skiing is for tight asses so they think that becuase they snowboard they are fuckin dope and becuase we ski, we r little bitches who are into slalom turns and tight suits.

ya i do. i have a santa cruz Zerocks i think it is and some flow amp-9fs bindings for all-mtn. and some lamar mx20 bindings i think they are for park. its fun but i rather spend next season getting good at skiing and only board a few times.

 
i snowboarded before i skied and it just want for me i guess i found skiing to be far more enjoyable and fun all the time, i would never have a bad moment on my skis it was great fun

thats a stereotype. not everyone is like that i just snowboard cas my friend got me into it. if he got me into skiing i would have gotten into that. i know kids are easily manipulated but think, freestyle snowboarding is way more out thre than freeskiing if freeskiing was just as big im sure it would be even

Snowboarded for 6-7 years before starting skiing. I completely forget what kind of board I have, I covered it in stickers so I can't really look. And I have some shitty no name bindings, it's a pretty awesome set up.

 
i tried snowboardin once and thought it was mad hard so i went back to sking but somethings do look cooler on a snowboard than on ski like certain grabs and spins

I snowboard. I have a ride prophet and a burton feel good with lexa bindings. i use to ski but got into snowboarding have always wanted to go back to skiing but i would probably just suck at it now so i just stick to what i am good at, snowboarding.

 
I Snowboard.....but not often. I used to ski all my life until one day when I broke my binding right off my ski when I was younger. So then my parents told me to just use the snowboard we have in the basement....so yeah I just stuck with that, also I found snowboarding more simular to skateboarding than skiing. I kno for a fact tho if my parents had fixed my ski I probably would have kept skiiing, It doesnt really matter tho cuz I only go out snowboarding in the winter like 4 or 5 times, the rest I just find indoor places to skateboard!!

i know its a stereotype, i have some good friends who board. but there are a lot of kids out there who are like 13 who suck but they do it cuase theyre ignorant and they think boarding is rebelious. there are kids who do the same thing with freeriding but there seems to be a lot more with boarding

when i was 10 i snowboarded for 2 years to try somethin new... but i missed skiing and theres alot of things you can do better on skis...but that was a while ago

 
Ive been snowboarding for 7 years and i skiied before that. I fucking love it cause i think its more of a challenge, even though its not that hard. I ride an Atomic Hatchet 153 1/2, im goofy, and its an all mountain cause i do tricks and just ride. its fucking amazing.

i've snowboarded for about a day in total. i worked it out and can do it, but i prefer skiing. Going switch on skis is way better than on a snowboard. Your actually going backwards!

i snowboard. i like it alot, but i can cover more terrain and generally do more on skis. i hate the feeling of not being to move mylegs when i'm doing something, even when i'm surfing i walk all over the board.

i ride an Abel board with Drake bindings (they are SO nice) and Burton boots.

I've been snowboarding for the last 7 years, I ride a Forum Recon Board and Bindings, and it rides to smooth, espiacally after a nice waxing. It has nice flex and carving too.

i started skiing when i was 3 then wheb i was 6 i started to snowboard and i am 15 no and hve been snowboarding scince. i also tele and regular ski but i am not to good at that.

i snowboard but just got into skiing around january and then got hurt in feb and was out to early march...really gay but skiing is still fun..i dunno what to get a new board or skis.....i have a lib tech with gnu bindings the carbon ones from like 2 years ago...really light....

well the life story.. i started skiing young.. then i switched to snowboarding @ 6th grade b/c i was there were veryyy few girls doing it and i always liked being different.. so I've snowboarded until the present... I've taught snowboarding for now going on my 3rd season and i started skiing these last two yr again ... and i just got shadows

but snowboard wise i have had...

K2 wild duck 140 (ahaha yes a wildduck) with ltd bindings

Ride Vista 150 with ltd bindings

Palmer liberty carbon 152 with ride LS bindings

i personally love Ride hardgoods... and i dont ever ride the palmer but its an ammazing womans freestyle board if anyone is interested in it... PM me its pretty much mint.. i just love riding the vista

i have a snowboard. i did it for about 3 yrs, while stilll skiing. i eventually decided that skiing was much better and i havent snowboarded since.
