Do you sit on your poles?

i got in the habit of doing it when i was younger, i now just do it without thinking, grips forwards. I pull them out a few poles before i get off so i can put the straps on then ready to go!

I tried sitting on my poles one time, then when I was gettin off the lift the baskets got stuck on the back of the chair so when I got off they both snapped right in half. Never tried it again...

same thing happened to my friend, that's why i always take the from underneath before i get off so that doesn't happen

I just hold them with my legs to free up both hands, it's easy and I never drop them. Just wrap them around the back of one of your calves and they won't go anywhere, so much easier and more comfortable.

your doing it wrong in that case.

For me, its always diagonal (20.678 degrees) and under my thigh, I'm never directly sitting on them with my ass cheeks. This way, all potential rectal bleeding and discomfort is avoided. I highly recommend the diagonal+ under the thigh method.

I think this calls for a 4frnt Tick Tips Video

I used to..... until management at my resort started saying it was dangerous and prohibited the act. Seriously. They're cracked.

Yep, I ride with a backpack most of the time unless I'm just riding the park chair so I generally just let it hang from my poles instead of keeping it in my lap. Then my hands are free to get things out of it, change music, smoke, drink or w.e else I need.

Depends if I'm even skiing with poles that day, and if I am it depends if I remember to throw them through my legs when I get on the lift

Fuck no its weird people who make a point to do it. I do it if I am trying to light my weed or looking for shit in my pocket.

I never ski with the wrist wraps around my wrists but I do throw them on on the chairlift when I want to lay down.
